SHARMISTHA CHATTERJEE -- A PAINTER OF POETRY, A COMPOSER OF MUSIC IN WORDS

SHARMISTHA CHATTERJEE -- A PAINTER OF POETRY, A COMPOSER OF MUSIC IN WORDS

Brilliant, yet again. Each time you throw new light on a subject and prove the fact that the sun, so old and ageing, yet shines fresh and new to us each morn. It is this ability to view a subject differently that characterises an artist's eye and it is this creative impulse throbbing palpably in your essays that lends them a life of its own that star-like shines in the firmament of words and images, sending waves of joy cascading through the minds of the readers.

The style of your compositions is inimitable, bordering between prose and poetry with words dancing through like dainty damsels making merry with anklets ringing and feet barely touching the earthy earth. Such music in presentation lifts prose unto ethereal heights and reveals depths within deeds that remain surface phenomena otherwise of common consequence.

The magic of your words lifts the spirit and rushes in the bliss you speak of in the piece on this singular day of the newly reborn year of an age gone by, rushes it into our receptive souls once more on the selfsame day this hour through a holy communion spelt by your verbal ministration.

What more can I say but to declare in no uncertain terms that you, Sharmistha Chatterjee, are a gift of God unto us who drink the nectar of your words to step closer to the destination of our dreams where all earthly dreams smash to smithereens, though, to that harbour of heavenly refuge where all heavens and hells have coalesced, though, into a vast oneness of conscious existence whose faintest aberration is the bliss divine. Unto such a realm your writings drive us, frenzied pilgrims of the soul.

May Thakur grant you his vision, so may my prayer be unto him this auspicious day of the Holy Kalpataru which the Avatar himself is !

Sharmistha Chatterjee Such words shower grace on me ,my guiding force...I come to realise the shadow of the play of the Trinity, may my God help me to comprehend the real... nothing more can I say and hence leave it to silence.
