"FACE THE BRUTE," SAID SWAMIJI

Why beat about the bush? Why not hit the bull's eye straight? Why not take the bull by the horns? Why this cowardice in circumventing a contentious issue instead of addressing it head on? Policy? It hardly helps. Better deal with evil with courage of conviction holding guard and fight it from the front than allow needless nuances to confound understanding and help perpetuate age-old corruption through generational transmission that goes unchallenged. If humanity is to be freed indeed from the fetters of superstition, it is best done the direct way of challenging core concepts that have no rational basis nor credible foundation in universal findings but are purely based on singular statements that go by the name of revelation. Reason cannot be bypassed thus in the modern world and yet that is precisely what is happening en masse. If the world is to be seasoned in logic and good sense, it is time to test doctrinaire tenets in the scientific way. What passes the test must be retained. What fails will pass into history.
