HOW HAPPY SWAMIJI WOULD HAVE BEEN WERE HE ALIVE TODAY TO WITNESS THE RISE OF THE RAM MANDIR!

If Swami Vivekananda were alive today, he would have been mighty pleased to see the rise of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. The destruction of the original temple by Islamic invaders has now come a full circle as its reconstruction is going on and Ram Lalla will be duly installed on 22 January, 2024 after 496 years of displacement. The Sanatan Dharma has yet again triumphed over historical heresies and reasserted itself as it ought to. We are rejoicing at this seminal moment of history when heritage is being recovered and restored to continue the grand march of Sanatan civilisation. Our great inspiration is Swami Vivekananda and with him as our general we, his foot soldiers, advance with the tidings of peace and harmony and goodwill towards all. May the blessings of Ram Lalla be showered on all and especially on those devotees who sacrificed their lives to bring to fruition this momentous event! It is a turning point in Indian civilisation, one whose national and global significance is seemingly beyond the vision of myopic critics of the resurgence of Sanatan civilisation. But, as the saying goes, the sweetened bread will taste as sweet whether it is held straight or crooked. Blessings unto all is what we can pray from our Bhagavan Maryada Purushottam Dasarathnandan Janakinath Raghukulapati Suryavangshi Shree Ram.

THE FUTURE OF INDIA

(LECTURES FROM COLOMBO TO ALMORA by Swami Vivekananda) https://www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info/vivekananda/volume_3/lectures_from_colombo_to_almora/the_future_of_india.htm

...Temple alter temple was broken down by the foreign conqueror, but no sooner had the wave passed than the spire of the temple rose up again. Some of these old temples of Southern India and those like Somnâth of Gujarat will teach you volumes of wisdom, will give you a keener insight into the history of the race than any amount of books. Mark how these temples bear the marks of a hundred attacks and a hundred regenerations, continually destroyed and continually springing up out of the ruins, rejuvenated and strong as ever! That is the national mind, that is the national life-current. Follow it and it leads to glory. Give it up and you die; death will be the only result, annihilation the only effect, the moment you step beyond that life-current. I do not mean to say that other things are not necessary. I do not mean to say that political or social improvements are not necessary, but what I mean is this, and I want you to bear it in mind, that they are secondary here and that religion is primary. The Indian mind is first religious, then anything else...
