VERDICT IN THE WAIT

VERDICT IN THE WAIT

If you reject the masses, the masses will reject you. And that can be terrible in a democracy where popular sovereignty is the prime principle.

'Pride cometh before a fall', as the saying goes, and arrogance meets its adversary in unequal combat where the humble and the lay teach humility to the aristocrat.

Pretence is not piety, neither opposition at any cost to anything worthwhile necessarily sincere. The chaff separated from the grain, the granular vision is clarified and rendered fit to effect befitting changes that improve the life of the polity.

Authority is of two days and only the ignorant enjoy this trifling earthly thing.

Deception is an art that some master but the discerning are there as well to detect it.

In the final analysis the simple and the humble (not the pretenders to simplicity and humility) serve. The rest are dubious dealers who in the name of serving the people seek to be served in a people's democracy like demigods or deities or dictators who have made the state or the nation their personal property. History deals them hard blows but all in its own sweet time. Till then the battle lines are drawn and leaders lead the gullible unto war where the latter perish while the former keep gathering the fruits of the labour of millions unto their own lavish style of living and expending.

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Now is the time for national awakening that will force leaders across the nation to deliver and not merely engage in tall talk and deceptive dealing.
