WHEN HOLLOW RINGS THE VOICE

When you yourself do not believe in what you from podium preach, you can scarce convince others to do the same. This is called loss of character. Politicians, however exalted they may be in democratically elected terms, have become hollow men and women, self-seeking opportunists with neither substance nor sacrifice to warrant them the position they hold by virtue of the mandate given by a vast mass of helpless people whose hopes and aspirations are craftily crushed every time the polls are over. But India is rising and will in a generation or two cast aside such wielders of power and pretenders to the same. 100% literacy will do the needful. Let us aspire for that, speak less and work more so that we may give shape to India's destiny. A new generation of the youth will yet arise and give utterance to India's noblest aspirations which the current crop of hollow men and women masquerading as leaders will never do. Upon the morrow rests India's fortunes.
