RAMAKRISHNA-VIVEKANANDA IS THE WAY

I cannot see how India may be unified but by the establishment of a common religion for one and all, and that must be the Vedanta which recognises the divinity of all. It seems that the message of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda, well absorbed, assimilated and implemented, will not only integrate India but humanise, divinise and lend solidarity to the world as well. Considering the antithetical religious and sociopolitical forces that are arrayed against each other as of now, this seems a tall order to achieve but it must come to pass in the fullness of time if with a clear vision, forthrightness and character, purity of purpose and strict adherence to original principles laid down by the Master and his anointed apostle, we pursue the goal. The end seems far but not quite so far as it seems as distance bridges overtime as awareness spreads and consciousness quickens to expedite fulfilment of the aspired end. 

The Vedanta of the Hindus must be the philosophical foundation of future humanity with the broad sympathy of the early Buddhists greasing the wheels of the movement, the charitable enterprise of the Christians lending the loving arm of service to humanity devoid of all pernicious proselytising instinct sullying the work, and the faithful, fraternal instinct of the Mohammedan, liberalised and extended beyond sectarian bounds and shorn of the violent fanaticism attending his militant religiopolitical attitude, supplementing and practicalising the pristine principles of the Vedanta in whose absence dry theory will render humanity sterile. All these and much more are implicit in the Master's pithy statement 'Yato mat tato path' (যত মত তত পথ) but they need to be expounded well in the wide world of men without organisational interest sullying the purity of the essential principle forming its fabric. Zealous preaching is necessary throughout the world, full of the fire of faith and free of fear, for humanity to learn and respond to this life-giving message that alone can foster peace and progress in our fractured suicidal world and usher humanity unto godhead. 🕉
