Sugata Bose @Koenraad Elst : I have quoted Swami Vivekananda. It is you who by vilifying me unduly and by going against the pronouncements of one of the greatest sages of all time who are lowering your estimation in the public eye. Your offensive language bespeaks your attitude. What else may be inferred from it? Immersed in Maya as you are, you make unwholesome distinctions between man and man, divine though they are, and ascribe attributes on them wholly unbecoming and devoid of scriptural sanction unless of course you hold man to be a cage of flesh and bones with so much of mind to think with and no more. If you viewed man as embodiment of the Atman, you would have desisted from making caustic, carping comments about fellow correspondents and, so, would have raised yourself significantly in their eyes. Your warnings notwithstanding I shall continue to voice what I know to be true and what is validated by the words of the greatest Rishi of modern times, his pronouncement on the nature and essence of the Vedas. May Holy Mother grace you with better discretion and a nobler heart! 🕉

Sugata Bose @Koenraad Elst : Ridicule or praise, truth must be stated, for in the words of Swami Vivekananda, 'Truth does not pay homage to society, ancient or modern. Society must pay homage to truth or die.'

Sugata Bose @Koenraad Elst : Now your puerile assertions are becoming rather boring. However, your statements thus far have helped me tremendously in understanding the hollowness of the so-called Hindutva movement which has of late consumed much of my attention. I now intend to gather better adherents of the Sanatan Dharma than its present protagonists who are incapable of even honouring our great sages such as Swami Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna, in order to freshen the movement of resurrection of the Sanatan Dharma. Thank you for this invaluable help that has come through your puerile propositions and surface statements which have opened my eyes to the corrosive core of the Hindutva movement in its current commercial derivative. God bless you with understanding to comprehend what I have thus far said! 🕉

P.S. Thank you for doing a fast Ramanujan in hyper-addition techniques.

Sugata Bose @Readers : The gentleman refusing to see reason had to be necessarily blocked, a rather unfortunate end to a request that ought to have been complied with but was evidently not. Plagiarism is an offence that cannot be condoned.

Sugata Bose @Aishitha Achyuth : āĻ¤া āĻ•েāĻ¨ ? āĻাāĻ°āĻ¤ āĻ¸েāĻŦাāĻļ্āĻ°āĻŽ āĻ¸ংāĻ˜ āĻ•ি āĻŦিāĻŦেāĻ•াāĻ¨āĻ¨্āĻĻāĻŦোāĻ§ āĻ›াāĻĄ়া ? āĻ†āĻ° āĻ°াāĻŽāĻ•ৃāĻˇ্āĻŖ āĻŽিāĻļāĻ¨ āĻ¤ো āĻ†āĻ§্āĻ¯াāĻ¤্āĻŽিāĻ• āĻĒ্āĻ°āĻ¤িāĻˇ্āĻ াāĻ¨ | āĻ¤াঁāĻ°া āĻ¸েāĻ•িāĻ‰āĻ˛াāĻ° āĻšāĻ¤ে āĻ¯াāĻŦেāĻ¨ āĻ•েāĻ¨ ?

Sugata Bose @Parag Kumar Mitra : Well, read then my big posts when I put them up. These short ones are teasers to eke out your responses.

Sugata Bose @Chandra Kumar Bose : To everything wholesome. Perhaps, you are making your own reading into the frontal fraction of the word 'modify' and responding in quizzical terms.

Sugata Bose @Atanu Bhattacharjee : Just the opposite. Hindus by reading the Kathamrita multiple times a day will become vigorous Hindus and Muslims by doing so will be encouraged to be less dogmatic and closer to eventually embracing the Sanatan Dharma. You have misread the import of the post and even the humour involved in its otherwise serious intent. 🕉

Sugata Bose @ā¤…ā¤•्ā¤ˇā¤¯ ā¤ĩā¤°्ā¤¤ā¤• : Swamiji says unity eventually will be. India will be a composite of 'Vedanta brain and Islam body'. Yes, unity is necessary for the nation's progress.

Sugata Bose @YouTube [The Indian Express] Location--Hotel Samrat 19.03.2024 Ramnath Goenka Award for Meghnad Bose : Awaiting the hour of meeting with journalistic excellence.

Sugata Bose @Paramhansa Shikshangan : The disinfatuated have their feet firmly fixed on the ground even when located in a world of fantasies and dreams as the pleasure gardens of life afford.

Sugata Bose @āĻ…āĻ°োāĻ¤্āĻ¤āĻŽ āĻ•ুāĻŖ্āĻĄু : I am a literary entrepreneur, not literally so. Risks by way of writing are thus welcome. The greater the risk, the greater the profit in terms of literary communication with my readers.

Sugata Bose @āĻ…āĻ°োāĻ¤্āĻ¤āĻŽ āĻ•ুāĻŖ্āĻĄু : But being Indian is a priceless possession, veritably in the last lap of the soul's transmigratory evolution unto godhead that is liberation from the fetters of Maya and timeless, spaceless absorption in the Absolute. What is a bit of earthly price paid compared to the lasting glory that a true son of the soil gets, both in real life and in the memory of posterity when the lights have dimmed in the eyes of the beholder and yet in stellar beams gleams the fading personality as it drifts into the cool glow of the radiant goddess which Bharatmata veritably is?

Sugata Bose @Satyanand Bhattacharjee : Read 'Sri Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita' daily. It is good for one's spiritual health. You will feel very happy and peaceful if you read it daily.

Sugata Bose @Prantik Banerjee : Good observation. Exposes the hypocrisy of these quacks, medical, spiritual et al. Even Ramdev Baba's assistant got treated in AIIMS  a few years back when he complained of chest-pain. That's the commercial corruption rife these days that fool the masses and interested parties.

Sugata Bose @Sanjeev Shrivastava : Bengalis have voted now thrice a patently communal party to power, a party with a chief who periodically invokes Allah to appease her preferred electorate to stay in power. And Bengalis, for all their superior intelligence, bow down to her in slavish cringing, having given up all dignity and decency to flatter the one in power while all the time pretending superior culture by poetic quotations and other cultural consequences. We stay in Bengal and know the scene since Singur. Hence, the blind may be misled by the othersidedness of affirmation but not us who suffer the lack of industrial development in West Bengal owing to the unfriendly attitude to industry of the ruling dispensation ever since 2007 when as opposition party it had thwarted the Nano factory and with it stifled Bengal's hopes. Add to that the scams that surface every other day and you have your picture perfect of Bengal's perilous course towards self-destruction. And for all this consistent backing of a terribly communal party, Bengalis are non-communal indeed!

Sugata Bose @YouTube [ANI News -- Smita Prakash with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev] : Quack speaking gibberish in a pseudorational manner. Hardly an honest man. And not truthful either. Verbosity is not wisdom.

Sugata Bose @YouTube [ANI News -- Smita Prakash with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev] : Sense and nonsense beautifully blended so as to fool the gullible masses.

Sugata Bose @Chandra Kumar Bose : Past superficial inclusiveness has failed in fighting Islamic communalism that led to Partition. Will history be allowed to repeat? What is your deep solution to this protracted problem? Deep and not the surface slogan of 'unity in diversity' despite its noble intentions but utter hollowness in terms of practical applicability in the teeth of Islamic scriptural absolutist, exclusive mandates which deem India Dar-ul-Harb and a business unfinished in the prophetic programme of Ghazwa-e-Hind.

Sugata Bose @Aishitha Achyuth : Right you are and to the left we must not turn. Now to set things right, we must be righteous soldiers of the Soul and turn rightward for sure.

Sugata Bose @Swapan Kr Jana : Very crude. Humour, true, but the darker version.

Sugata Bose @YouTube [Deepika Bhide] : Deepikaji, you need to work on maintenance of laya which goes frequently awry in your case. And I am not talking of layakari.

Sugata Bose @Anthony Dsouza : Not the RSS which is a nation-builder but other antinational organisations which are galore and working to bring down this civilisation.

Sugata Bose @Anthony Dsouza : No, I am neither joking nor misleading the public but this is where I stand taking everything into account. There are faultlines everywhere but the essentials must be seen. And the RSS is a nationalist organisation which has done and is doing yeoman service to the nation, although, it may not be to everyone's liking and it may not have delivered to expected levels of satisfaction.

Sugata Bose @āĻ…āĻ°োāĻ¤্āĻ¤āĻŽ āĻ•ুāĻŖ্āĻĄু : First let us become 'heartwhole' men as Swamiji used to say. Then with spiritual realisation backing us we shall have ample scope to reform society. Till then with ignorance, arrogance and egoism impelling us towards fractured reform, we shall be making a disaster of things by way of attempting social improvement at its foundational structural level. I urge you to read Swami Vivekananda extensively and intensively at that to find for yourself what the great man had thought on these issues.

Sugata Bose @RN Singh : He (Narendra Modi) surely can. Even Hindi and Gujarati versions of Swamiji's Complete Works are there. Regarding assimilation it is a more contentious point the truth of which I am not privy to but can only hazard my guess.

Sugata Bose @YouTube [Dil se with Kapil Sibal] : Mr. Sibal, the pronunciation of the word 'publicly' is pub-lick-ly and not pub-li-cally. Point to be noted. This word like the other one 'overeignty' is these days being much mispronounced in the broadcast media.

Sugata Bose @Arunangshu Mandal : āĻ†āĻ°ে āĻŽāĻļাāĻ‡, āĻĻাāĻ°্āĻœীāĻ˛িāĻ™ে āĻĒ্āĻ°āĻļ্āĻŦাāĻ¸ āĻĢেāĻ˛āĻ›ে āĻ˛োāĻ•ে āĻ¸āĻ¨্āĻ¤āĻ°্āĻĒāĻŖে āĻĒাāĻ›ে āĻĒ্āĻ°āĻļ্āĻŦাāĻ¸েāĻ° āĻ§োঁā§Ÿাā§Ÿ āĻļিāĻ˛্āĻĒেāĻ° āĻ…āĻ¨ুāĻŽাāĻ¨ āĻšā§Ÿে āĻ¯াā§Ÿ āĻ†āĻ° āĻŦেāĻ•াāĻ° āĻাāĻ¤া āĻŦāĻ¨্āĻ§ āĻšā§Ÿে āĻ¯াā§Ÿ |

āĻŦāĻšāĻ¨াāĻ° āĻŦāĻšāĻ¨ে āĻļিāĻ˛্āĻĒāĻ“ āĻšাāĻ¸ে |

Sugata Bose @Sugata Bose : Here is the genuine Sadguru as opposed to self-proclaimed titular ones. [Relative reference to Swami Smaranananda and Sadhuguru Jaggi Vasudev]

Sugata Bose @Habib Saleh : What were Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Kashmir? Hindu and Buddhist in character. And now? Was this Hinduisation or was it not Islamisation? Read Jadunath Sarkar, Sita Ram Goel and Ram Swarup to come to a semblance of historical sanity? And finally, why was undivided India partitioned? Because Hindus wanted not to live with Muslims or was it the other way? What is the struggle (jihad) that converts Dar-ul-Harb to Dar-ul-lslam? What is Ghazwa-e-Hind?

Sugata Bose @Anthony Dsouza :And for good measure what were the Portuguese Inquisitions doing in Goa and neighbouring regions? Preaching peace?

Sugata Bose @Tanmoy Lodh : No, no, the British looted more, 44 trillion dollars in today's valuation. The INA treasure was of 170 thousand crore INR in estimate made a decade back which was looted by unknown agents.

Sugata Bose @TouTube [Mallikarjun Kharge---YOYO Kannada News] : Why don't you rid your party of mother and son who are ruining your fortunes?

Sugata Bose @Anthony Dsouza : You are a humorous person. Much appreciated your rather slanted jibe.

Sugata Bose @Swati Bajpai : The quality of reporting has drastically diminished since the takeover of NDTV by the big tycoon and the consequent absence from the scene of its parents Radhika Roy and Prannoy Roy.

Sugata Bose @Swati Bajpai : Did they? At any rate independent journalism is becoming a rarity these days with channels competing with each other for commercial gain at any cost, even if it means exhibiting abysmal servility towards the ruling dispensation. Sad demise of a glorious tradition that was begun by the great champion of free press, Raja Rammohan Roy.

Sugata Bose @Syed Emad Uddin Shubha : The name 'Leningrad' has been buried in the post-communism movement and resurrected to its original incarnation 'St. Petersburg'. Hence, location in Leningrad would mean location in buried history, perhaps as a relic of the past.

Sugata Bose @Paribrajak Biswanath : Sorry, Swami Gautamananda has been nominated as the Acting President till the election of the 17th President in due course is done.

Sugata Bose @Tanmoy Lodh : But is communism in terms of foundational philosophy and principles consonant with liberalism? Is it not an exclusive socioeconomic materialistic philosophy with a particular interpretation of human evolution in terms of dialectical materialism and historical naterialism that is completely opposed to toleration, much less acceptance, of religion? Whither liberalism then in such an enforced exclusive societal context?

Sugata Bose @Subhrajyoti Bhowmick : Search Google. Moreover, you hardly ever acknowledge a reply given by me to your questions--- which are legion---despite my clarifications or detailed answers to general digressions raised by you. Such has been my prolonged experience with you sadly. Hence, it is seemingly an exercise in futility to address your questions because it costs me valuable time and energy but my endeavour to answer you sees no return.

Sugata Bose @Amitabha Dutta Majumdar : Sri Ramakrishna was Ram and Krishna incarnate. The worship of Hanumanji (Mahaveer) and Ma Kali was sought to be popularised by Swamiji which we get to know from his conversations with his householder disciple Sarat Chandra Chakrabarty. Ram and Seeta Mata have entered into the bloodstream of Hindus. In Belur Math every fortnight Ram naam sangkeertan is done as in all branch (Math) centres, I guess. Hanumanji epitomised brahmacharya, valour, obedience, loyalty, presence of mind, acute intelligence, in short all the attributes that make for a perfect devotee in the 'daasya' mood. These qualities Swamiji wanted his fallen countrymen to imbibe. Perhaps, a combination of all these factors, civilisational and the mighty will of a mahatma like Swamiji have contributed to Ramji and Hanumanji being so popular today among the Hindus who are rediscovering their civilisational roots as they undergo a renaissance of sorts which even Swamiji had predicted.

Sugata Bose @Prabir Banerjee : You mean 'Ramaa', 'Guptaa', 'Duttaa', 'Mitraa', 'Krishnaa', 'Dharmaa', 'Karmaa' etc.? Besides these nowadays we are being dished out by them 'sovereignIty', 'publicAlly', 'prAWtest' and the like. Alarming decline of culture in every sense.

Sugata Bose @Debaprasad Bhattacharya : āĻŽূāĻ°্āĻ– āĻšিāĻ¨্āĻĻু ! āĻ†āĻĒāĻ¨াāĻ° āĻ…āĻ¨্āĻ¤্āĻ¯েāĻˇ্āĻŸিāĻ•্āĻ°িā§ŸাāĻ° āĻ†ā§ŸোāĻœāĻ¨ে āĻ…āĻ¤্āĻ¯াāĻ—্āĻ°āĻšী |

Sugata Bose @Kumar Swapan : Communal? Who? How long will you live in self-oblivion? Till Sanatan Bharat with its diminishing geographical zone of spiritual influence is no more? Is that the unstated agenda?

Sugata Bose @Debaprasad Bhattacharya : Right. But we find professors taking pleasure in criticising Indian weaknesses over foreign public platforms. That is shameful for it betrays intent, that being seemingly to gain the patronising pat of the westerner to further one's career prospects or to end it in the evenshine of glory at the cost of one's mother, the motherland. And then to blazon one's 'achievement' thus over social media to gain the patronising pat of the Moguls of the day, the descendants of the greats who are not even a shadow of their esteemed ancestors, is abysmal indeed.

Sugata Bose @Kirti Phadtare Pandey: You have not the intelligence or catholicity to understand me. As per the aspersion you have cast on me, both Swami Vivekananda and Rabindranath Tagore must have suffered from the bipolar disorder and odd day-even day syndrome you suggest. It takes greater depth and clarity to comprehend the fundamental principles that I abide by and that I write about. That in this age of online mass articulation the evidence of plummeting mass culture is out in the open is once more proven by your comment which is utterly off the mark. Wherever goodness will be, I shall continue to praise it and in equal measure denounce wherever I come across evil, overt or covert. And that notwithstanding any party's ideology, myself remaining as always the devoted servant of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda. 🕉

P.S. ["A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do. He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall. Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. — 'Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.' — Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood." --- Ralph Waldo Emerson]

Sugata Bose @AdvMotahar Hossain : But every census since Independence has shown a declining Hindu % population and an inversely inclining Muslim % population.

Sugata Bose @AdvMotahar Hossain : Quite the contrary. Demographic transition need not be considered only overall but must be seen in terms of provinces and districts where the demographic situation is quite different and the balance is radically shifting which is causing a lot of social tension. Your 'lakhs of years' phrase lacks credibility and bespeaks your intent to cover the ground reality, it seems. The Muslim population was at 14% in 2011 but has increased over the last 13 years even as the Hindu % population has in inverse mode decreased. Census will reveal it as and when it is done.  The country was partitioned at Muslim population being 24% and Hindu 76%. So, for fissiparous tendencies to mature it would not require an absolute Muslim majority of greater than 50% of the population. The history of the world testifies to how Muslim majority in any country has resulted in the imposition of the Sharia and the destruction of prospective democratic hopes in the real sense of the term. Hence my observation and warning to my civilisational kith and kin. Responsibility for the motherland I very much bear which is why my concern and pertinent observation with a lot of thought fed into it.

Sugata Bose @Swapan Pal : Seen it. Revealing as to the future fate of debilitated Hindu Bengalees, now given to Iftar parties and beef-eating. Alas! can a sensate population survive long? It must undergo that inevitable 'evolutionary' fate of conversion which historically has snatched Bangladesh from us. Bengalee Hindus are sleeping while death closes in like Michael Madhusudan Dutt poetically said it in 'King Porus---a Legend of Old',

"Came as the tiger noiseless slow

Like fiery passion's headlong flow."
