RETURN TO RAMAKRISHNA ... 1

RETURN TO RAMAKRISHNA ... 1

Sri Ramakrishna is perhaps the greatest spiritual personage in history but his followers in being unduly meek are making a mockery of the bold message that he preached. Ramakrishna anointed Vivekananda as his successor who would instruct humanity. And so did the Swami, spanning continents with his valorous, victorious message which now lies compromised in cowardly capitulation before capitalist forces that are consumed in pecuniary gains of an inerior order. And the manhood Swamiji preached and upheld as the gist of his life's message has in debilitating dance and song culture been reduced to effeminacy. Christian and Islamic conversion of Hindus goes on unabated and the followers of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda raise not a voice of protest. They are too keen to preserve petty organisational interest, whatever that may mean, while the body politic of the Hindus goes to ruins through invasive Abrahamic attacks. The virus is working, undermining the Sanatan Dharma and its affiliates, while the anti-virus that Ramakrishna released unto the world in Vivekananda is being shelved till Kingdom come.

Weakness was not Vivekananda's message; strength was. And what the Sikhs imbibed from their Gurus, especially from the times of the martyred fifth Guru Arjan Devji unto its martial culmination in the tenth Guru Gobind Singhji, is what the followers of Vivekananda post the revolutionaries of Bengal who were inspired unto action by the Swami, have failed to absorb and implement in their lives. Mere passive piety is not enough but a vigorous, valorous expression of one's spiritual conviction must find its due place in individual and collective living. Swamiji frequently exhorted his countrymen to imbibe the martial spirit. Now the Sikhs and the Muslims are both militant in spirit. So, it is the vast body of Hindus that he must have addressed when he invoked martial manliness in them and the vigour to fight. Here Ramakrishna-Vivekananda's message has been largely neglected.

Ramakrishna's renunciation of money is now not even mentioned from the podium by preachers who are busy raising funds at any cost, even by lowering original ideals. And Vivekananda's valour has been replaced by an effeminacy unthinkable in the Swami's lifetime and in the first decades thereafter.

The Hindu polity is under constant attack from crafty Christian missionaries working assiduously at their conversion work, and from jihadi Muslim clerics corrupting the minds of their wards in hundreds of thousands of madrassas spread across the country. Hindus suffer endlessly at the hands of exclusive, violent Abrahamic religions and Ramakrishna Mission utters not a word against them. Instead of exposing the intolerant tenets of Islam and Christianity, Ramakrishna Mission continues to harp on an imaginary harmony of essentially antithetical religions. This confuses the Hindus and prepares them for being victims of false preaching by Christians and Muslims who cleverly camouflage intent and draw Hindu minds unto conversion. Is this what is expected of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda's followers, that they should cherry-pick passages from their Masters and reduce Hindus to this state of defencelessness? Or ought they also not to state whatever criticisms Ramakrishna-Vivekananda had for Christianity and Islam so that Hindus remain forewarned about the dangers that they are exposed to in a secular India where they are conveniently preyed upon?

Last but not the least, monks would do well to once more begin body-building as Vivekananda had instituted the practice of instead of indulging in effeminate dance and song culture as is the wont these days in the name of Ramakrishnabhakti. 🕉

A SADDER MAN, A WISER MAN, A STILLER SOUL, PEACEFUL, WITNESSING CHILDREN PLAY THIS GAME OF SELF-OBLIVION

A SADDER MAN, A WISER MAN, A STILLER
SOUL, PEACEFUL, WITNESSING CHILDREN PLAY THIS GAME OF SELF-OBLIVION

In one's moment of terrible let-down, when the suffering of the soul is intense, when life seems insipid and meaningless, a veil drops off the mind and one witnesses a deeper reality, the divine beloved beckoning the pilgrim soul to return home where for ages he has been waiting for him. Then the world loses its charm and a sad silence comes upon the soul. The mood lifts as the vision opens and a deep peace prevails for a while. In such a mood of deeper sadness and a deeper peace may the soul subsist forever, such goes the prayer deep unto the divine. It is all a single being with none else to recount what one experiences. Only one realises the futility of phenomenal life in all its surface glitter that covers the depth-consciousness. 🕉

OF DANCE, DELUSION AND DENIAL WHILE DEATH LURKS AROUND THE CORNER

OF DANCE, DELUSION AND DENIAL WHILE DEATH LURKS AROUND THE CORNER

It is good that Vedanta is being preached in an effeminate manner as opposed to the valorous way in which it was presented by Swamiji over a century ago. This will seal the fate of the Sanatan Dharma and the Sanatanis by converting India to an Islamic state in the coming decades. Witness in horror the changing demographic profile of India with monks dancing in despicable delight with fullest patronage from seniors, oblivious of the civilisational threat looming large on the horizon.

When Lala Lajpat Rai was beaten to consequential death by Scott, Basanti Devi had called out, "Is there not a man who can avenge this death?" Bhagat Singh and his fellow revolutionaries responded.

Today when the nation faces the terrible situation of progressive Islamisation, it is shameful for monks to preach from the podium mere theoretical stuff of the Vedanta in an effeminate manner while the rest of colleagues at home keep dancing to sentimental score so detested by Swamiji. As if it is not yet time to respond to Swamiji's clarion call and lead the Hindu masses out of the morass of self-delusion, of sensate culture of a paralysing inferior order and the killing concept that Islam is benign for the kaffir as well after all. No wonder Vivekananda had died in despair at having failed to kindle a modicum of manhood among his followers. How much worse has he been betrayed since then overtime by dancing monks and effeminate preachers!

Sugata Bose @Swapan Kumar Ghosh : PFI, now a banned Islamic organisation, has declared 2047 as the prospective year of India becoming an Islamic state. Simple arithmetic. Hindu educated population has declined to near 0.7 per couple while Muslim overall growth rate is still at above 3.5 per couple which is 5 times the Hindu growth rate. Add to it Dravididian, Dalit and Communust separatism among the Hindus and you have your 'picture perfect'.

Hindus are an ancient civilisation, at last on the way out, and the last one to do so. Swamiji was apprehensive about Hindu population and attitudinal prospects when he wrote, 'Shall India die?'

It will immediately need a complete reversal of the population policy for Hindus and an integration drive among its major sections coupled with aggressive reconversion programmes to bring home prodigal perverts from Islam and Christianity to stem the tide. The two proselytising Abrahamic religions must be constantly challenged in open debates to expose their philosophical vulnerability and their anti-civilisational core character despite violence that may be hurled at Hindus by way of regressive reaction.

Hindus must be imparted martial training as Savarkar had envisaged, their essential precepts routinised despite a myriad divergence on the surface, and overall the Hindu polity must be made manly as Swamiji had exhorted. Otherwise, 'jal' will become 'pani' soon and Hindus will not receive 'haaley pani', as the Bengali saying goes.

A last vital thing. Hindu business houses must go on a philanthropic drive to afford Hindu families sustain their 3-4 children policy. Here a secular government cannot do much but private organisations can, and they must. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Rajiv Banerjee: This name must be chanted 1080 times twice a day. Mere online writing will not help manifest power and purity. Vigour, valour, missionary zeal and sufficient aggression in propagation of the core principles of the Dharma is the sine qua non of the hour if we are to survive as a spiritual civilisation. Mere raising the chant hither and thither online will not save us. The fighting spirit has to be cultivated. Are you ready for that as well? Then join my effort at the resuscitation of our dying Hindu civilisation which is becoming bankrupt by the day at the hands of hollow, cowardly, superficial Hindus. 🕉

Sugata Bose @YouTube [Firstpost] : This lady, Palki Sharma Upadhyay, is a half-baked journalist speaking a deal of gibberish at times in her apparently confident way which of course is the sign of ignorance.

Sugata Bose @Samarbijoy Chakraborty : People provide power through their abject servility as they have done to Nehru's family and now so many do to Netaji's extended family. This is slave mentality which we are prone to. Gandhi's inordinate austerity as a politician, simplicity of living, use of religious symbolism, hardened ideological conviction that gave certitude to his followers in adopting his path, his non-violence which made it easy for the masses to follow him and join him in his movement for freedom, especially in largely unarmed British India, his astute political intelligence, clever manoeuvring, mass-contact and British patronage of sorts who preferred non-violent Gandhi to the armed revolutionaries by a long distance---all these made him the preeminent political power of subjugated and struggling India. The death of the armed revolutionaries at the gallows and on the battlefields, the withdrawal from politics of seminal personages like Aurobindo Ghosh, the demise of Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai and Bipin Chandra Pal---all these were also deciding factors in favour of Gandhi's huge popularity and power.

Sugata Bose @Tanmoy Lodh : Do have the courtesy to acknowledge a detailed answer in response to your query. That surely is part of civil communication. Else, your questions will deserve a like neglect from my side as well in future. And this is being said in pursuance of your past persistence in presenting pertinent and extraneous questions in regard to a post, and after being answered, quite conveniently dropping off conversation without acknowledgement accorded to the answers given. Surely, courtesy is par for the course in civil discourse.

Sugata Bose @Vidya K : But Nehru himself forced his way into becoming democratic India's first Prime Minister in a most undemocratic way, edging out Patel who had received 12 out of 15 votes of the Congress Working Committee that elected the prospective Prime Minister while Nehru had not even received a single vote. So, democracy and Nehru are at source an oxymoronic association that needn't confuse you anymore and lend credibility to the democratic credentials of the 'Gentle Colossus' (reference being made to Hiren Mukerjee's classic study of Nehru by the same name).

Sugata Bose @Satyanand Bhattacharjee : You have a point. Addressing the defence of my post from the 'progress' point that you have referred to would entail an elaborate answer which I am desisting from owing to paucity of time and energy at this point of time. For the subject is vast and varied which requires a series of articles to address and not merely a solitary responsive comment.

Sugata Bose @Satyanand Bhattacharjee : Of course we shall remain friends for I do not disagree on the 'progress' point as such but have corollaries to it which may not be delineated in a comment stream as stated. And even if we disagree, why should civility in conversation be renounced as to interpret disagreement as enmity that should end friendship? I remain your respectful friend as before. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Debaprasad Bhattacharya : You are right. This monotheistic thrust on the Vedas is Abrahamic in origin. As Swamiji says, the Vedas build up an aspirant gradually from dualism to qualified non-dualism and eventually non-dualism, accepting all forms of graded worship as necessary steps in this spiritual ascent and rejecting none as superstition or spiritually redundant. Moreover, non-dualism is not monotheism, as Satyanand Bhattacharjee in his assertion on Shankaracharya's teaching avers. Shankaracharya wrote hymns to gods and goddesses which are all dualistic and even catering to images (prateeks) of the divine.

Monotheism is essentially an idea stemming from the mathematical model of the pyramidal apex which, though, is mathematically flawed as the apex being a point is dimensionless and so transcendentally non-dual. Monotheism thus is even mathematically a flawed concept, perhaps stemming from the idea of the sovereign earthly ruler (king/emperor) determining human fate which then having been raised to a divine dimension has brought in the idea of the One Sovereign God governing the universe and beyond. The pyramid is composed of material multiplicity at all levels before it vanishes into the non-dual nothingness at the apex. Nowhere in its bodily structure is a single material entity possible as such as an entity is invariably, by the law of associatoon of discrete particles, a composite of tiny particles and can never stand in isolation alone. Thus, monotheism is an irrational assumption and a puerile proposition. All that is there is polytheism and non-dualism which is what the Sanatan Dharma is all about.

As regards image-worship, who can conceive of the transcendent idea of the divine with his mental tool that is bound in name and form? If Nature has name and form and corresponding attributes, so must a god have if we are to conceive of him with our mental apparatus. When we have transcended the mind, we are no more nor is there any single God. All that is is pure existence which is pure consciousness as well, and being devoid of change is devoid of sorrow, hence pure bliss. This and so much more was the reason why the divine duo of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda wholeheartedly upheld image-worship and the multiplicity of gods and goddesses in the Hindu pantheon as not only valid but as indispensable to the growth of spirituality in the general mass of humanity. Reading this last statement men of much learning and little realisation will immediately jump to the conclusion that even if for the ordinary mind such superstition as idol-worship be necessary, surely extraordinary minds like Rammohan, Rabindranath and Vidyasagar would have no such necessity. Let me remind in this regard what Swamiji had said: "You may be an intellectual giant but a spiritual babe." Rammohan, Rabindranath and Vidyasagar were not spiritual aspirants in the strictest sense of the term that they would apprehend the depths to image-worship as a Ramakrishna or a Chaintanya or a Meera Bai did. Period. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Meghnad Bose : Abir, stay clear of all anti-Israel protest. The law is tricky, its interpretation often treacherous. What is antisemitism and what is not, is often difficult to define and changes form and substance with fluctuations in the interpretation scenario and consequent shift in US policy. So, be aware of all this, concentrate on study and stay clear of all political activity. May Thakur-Ma-Swamiji bless you! ... Baba

Sugata Bose @Satyanand Bhattacharjee : This is called dharmamaarga. Mokshamaarga is different altogether. It is the internal programme of bhajan-pujan-dhyan-svaadhyaay-seva, a more inclusive project than what Tagore here in a relatively exclusive assertion wishes to draw the attention of his countrymen in his bid to bring about a shift in their tamasic preoccupation with ritual religious observance of not much consequence in terms of either nation-building or even quickening spirituality which apparently is the aspired end of all these ritualists.

Sugata Bose @DrMrityunjoy Mahato : That would kill the very spirit of Hinduism and would be an imitation of the Abrahamic religions. Rather than this, every sect within the Sanatan fold must stress on certain key features with the Vedanta as its philosophical base and exhort adherents to practise and live up to them. For instance, svaadhyaay (scriptural study/the study of Sanskrit) and seva (service) may become universal Hindu practice. Another should be mutual help and cooperation rather than quarrels in the attempt to establish one's sectarian superiority over another. Vivekananda must be made staple to all Hindu sects so that a broader understanding of the Sanatan Dharma becomes possible. United we must stand against all Abrahamic proselytism. 🕉 is our universal divine symbol which should unite us all.

Sugata Bose @Swapan Kr Jana : Rubbish. Dharma is the basis of union of men as dharma means righteousness which is the foundation of all human societal integration. Vivekananda's views are diametrically opposed to what has been articulated here by Tagore apparently. However, it is difficult to understand from such a clipped quotation the context of the comment and whether Tagore is talking of sectarianism as dharma or not, for we in India are apt to calling 'panth' as 'dharma', thereby creating confusion.

Sugata Bose @Swami Vibhatmananda : Effeminacy that Swamiji abhorred. Soft, sentimental music evoking unmanliness he detested and exhorted his countrymen to take to rendition of music in a vigorous way with dhrupad leading the charge and drums, cymbals, rumbling bells and gongs making music thunder through to the sleeping soul. Awake!

Sugata Bose @Mrinmay Das : Prafulla Chaki was not the first martyr. Vasudev Balwant Phadke was (1883), then the Chapekar brothers (1898, 1899, 1899). These preceded Pradulla Chaki. However, you are right in your intended point. Prafulla Chaki did precede Khudiram Bose in martyrdom.

Sugata Bose @Suvadeep Sen : Is the martyrdom day of Prafulla Chaki not 2nd May? Wikipedia shows it thus. However, Wikipedia may be wrong. I seek confirmation from you.

Sugata Bose @Shusobhan Charit : We are a confused lot, cowardly and conflicted. Hence, our insecure affiliation to Marxism and pseudosecularism with open-armed invitation to proselytising invasive religions of Abrahamic origin and destructive intent. We are an ancient race, tired of facing endless onslaughts for millenia, so much so that even our great men, savants and scholars, sages and saints, divine vibhutis and avatars, in their attempts to harmonise the conflicting currents of our historical development, have been at their wit's end and so served us messages of segmented understanding of Abrahamic faiths that we have landed ourselves right in the midst of their deathly traps. Swami Vivekananda did warn us of these half-baked devotional developments but the Ramakrishna Mission has in their open preaching carefully sidelined those messages of caution, preferring instead to preach that all is hunky dory and we are on track to achieving universal brotherhood and perfect amity with our civilisational enemies before long while the Mission's failure to boldly stand in defence of the Hindus being easily traceable to their open avowal in the law courts that they were Ramakrishnaites and not Hindus, a fact attested by legal courts related to the Mission's plea for minority status consequent on their conflict with the Marxists of West Bengal in the 1980s. Through all this the Hindus have suffered as successive Congress Governments have neglected Hindu interests and upheld Muslim and Christian interests to the point that Hindus feel alien in their homeland. But what of it? Hindus love tall talk, platitudes and high-sounding harmony of no real consequence at the ground level and Hindus love to hibernate till Kingdom come. Who can save them who do not wish to save themselves? Now have you understood better? 🕉

Sugata Bose @Debasish Halder : Did you not get anything good in the Upanishads which are the foundational scriptures of the Sanatan Dharma? First ask yourself how far a man of continence you are before you question the credentials of our scriptures. Mend yourself first. Then the import of our scriptures will come clean to you and hopefully you will stand upright as a reformer individual.

Sugata Bose @Bharat Ojha : Ramakrishna Saradalok? New celestial sphere?

Sugata Bose @YouTube [Sange Tanmoy] : āĻāĻ•āĻŸāĻž āĻĒā§āĻ°ā§āĻˇ āĻœāĻ¨ā§āĻŽāĻžā§Ÿ āĻ¨āĻž āĻĻā§‡āĻļā§‡ ? The interviewee is extremely effeminate, typical of Bengal that has failed to absorb virile Vivekananda but pretends to have done so, unthinkingly though. Swamiji had been dismayed by this effeminacy then and had exhorted Bengal to awake to manhood. His exhortation has fallen flat on Bengalees who have persisted in their sensual culture of soft sentiment, music and dance, poetry and prose, and have otherwise been perverted by alien ideology to embrace atheism and materialism of an inferior order. If Swamiji were alive in flesh and form today, he would have thundered his indignation at this degenerate state of Bengal and whipped us into better virility.

NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ... 1

NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ... 1

Archaic ideas that have lost relevance must be discarded and development achieved through heavy industrialisation. Necessarily, capitalism will come in with all its concomitant exploitation of labour. The trade unions will in accordance rise up in resistance. Through the tussle and tension thereof a nation will be forged where science will have in time eradicated poverty and rendered life materially more meaningful, provided the simultaneous manifestation of character is achieved as well.

A free society where the Vedanta in all its robustness and not effeminate expression from the podium alone will play its due spiritual part, where vigorous activity will refashion one's life and the life of the distressed around, where servility to however great a leader will in expression of the individual be abhorred and shunned, where 'renunciation and service', the twin ideals espoused by Swamiji, will become the basis for national development, where privilege, a Constitutional abolition, will in real terms be a ghost of the past as well and courage of conviction will have banished the very memory of such apparitions to beyond the boundary of human consciousness, in such a social space will this nation arise with discipline and dedication to building the health of the polity the dual attributes, and obedience and service devoid of 'slavish cringing', as Vivekananda put it, the operational modes. No mean task that is but an end achievable if the bull is caught hold of by its horns and antinational activities such as proselytism and other fissiparous tendencies are with iron hand dealt with.

Capitalism is the economic model for sure but capitalism that is not crony but is fraught with social good, however oxymoronic it may seem on the surface. For where on earth have we seen greed, the fuelling power of capitalism in general, cater to human welfare as fundamental principle? Exception to this gluttonous rule may lie in the Tatas whose founder was a man of sterling principles and who was influenced further towards enlightened philanthropy by his interaction with Swami Vivekananda en route to Yokohama by sea. That apart we see big businessmen amass wealth by fair and foul means before in the evening of their lives a handful open up their coffers in charitable dispensation for the people.

COMPLACENCY, THY OTHER NAME IS COWARDICE

COMPLACENCY, THY OTHER NAME IS COWARDICE

Pre-Partition complacent Hindus said Partition was an impossibility. Now they say Hinduism will survive till Kingdom come. But where? In the US? Here three segments (Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh) have already been snatched by Islam. Kashmir is gone. Kerala and Assam going. West Bengal following suit. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu like obedient younger brothers traversing the same path. Mumbai troubled. Uttar Pradesh, despite Yogi, a potboiler. How long, O Hindu, with your educated urban women refusing to marry or marrying late and staying off motherhood, will you keep up your demographic dominance against a fast-proliferating Muslim population where women consider their fertility to be their prime possesion that draws them closer to their founder?

Dream of your Vedic wisdom and your philosophical infallibility like Aldous Huxley's 'wise fools' while the Islamic scriptures take control of your relinquished space and impose the Sharia on you. Cowardice must not masquerade as character neither fantasy fashion reality, for it is a deal done in deathly submission.

Mark the last word and mark out your funeral pyre, that is, if you are lucky enough to have last rites duly done. Stop your vain imaginings as befits a coward and take to studying the Islamic scriptures to have a realty check which is a clearer conception of your coffin. Then look around and discover the despicable state of this dying race, the Hindus.

No sentence is irrevocable. So can this death sentence passed by Hindus on themselves be reversed. But that would need living in the real world and fighting, not engaging in futile fanciful thinking and uttering maldigested gibberish. 🕉

MESSAGES GALORE ... 68

MESSAGES GALORE ... 68

1. Why was Vande Mataram replaced by Jai Hind as national greeting and Jana Gana Mana selected over Vande Mataram as national anthem?

2. Why has almost every major Hindu leader except Hindutva ones appeased Muslims pre-Partition? And to what effect?

3. Why have Hindus yielded miles to Muslims when the latter have never yielded an inch to Hindus and continue to do so?

4. Hindus are a confused lot. Right from Arjun they've lacked the scent of the enemy. Must a Krishna be born every other day for us?

5. Rash Behari Bose was the one freedom fighter with the clearest of insight into the enemy's psychology. He truly was the architect of our freedom. His revolutionary career spanned five decades and two World Wars. The first War effort was aborted, the second one clinching.

6.

7. We need not seek the patronising pat of the West to prove to ourselves that we have come of age. Stop trying to impress the West.

8. As yet inferiority complex impels us to impress the West at Oxford Union debates how we have come of age. Come off it!

9. We must indigenise our thoughts. No more this cultural colonisation of the West to which we blissfully submit in perfect innocence.

10. Sanskrit education will help develop national cultural identity and shake off western colonisation of our mind.

11. All Indian languages must be developed but with special emphasis on Sanskrit in which our spiritual literature is largely written.

IN RESPONSE TO ANAND RANGANATHAN'S BRIEF AND BEAUTIFUL SPEECH ON OUR CIVILISATIONAL ETHOS

IN RESPONSE TO ANAND RANGANATHAN'S BRIEF AND BEAUTIFUL SPEECH ON OUR CIVILISATIONAL ETHOS

Brilliant writing, well read out. Everything fine except one point. "I am but a bunch of cells, today there, tomorrow gone." This statement is a materialistic one quite antithetical to our civilisational ethos which is fundamentally spiritual. This strikes at the very root of our whole Sanatan idea and ideal of the Divine, the Self, the Atman, the Brahman, the Adyashakti, Mahamaya, Ishvar et al and renders the talk hollow philosophically and in historical terms. Otherwise, this is a beautiful rendition indeed, delivered in delectable diction. Anand Ranganathan like Vinayak Savarkar is a cultural Hindu but an atheist at that. He openly avows his materialistic take on life, being an evolutionary scientist and subscribing to its tenets.

IN RESPONSE TO THE TYPICALLY DEBILITATING EFFEMINATE RENDITION OF RAMAKRISHNA DEVOTIONAL SONGS IN MUCH CURRENCY THESE DAYS

IN RESPONSE TO THE TYPICALLY DEBILITATING EFFEMINATE RENDITION OF RAMAKRISHNA DEVOTIONAL SONGS IN MUCH CURRENCY THESE DAYS

Effeminate rendition of devotional music contrary to the masculinity exhorted by Swamiji to be manifested in every movement of life. The voice must be baritone, bold, the delivery virile, the rendition evoking strength which Swamiji summed up as manhood. This was then the need of the hour and this remains the need of the day when effeminacy of a vicious sort is infecting every phase of our national life including the 'spiritual'.

Swamiji had desired for aggressive Hinduism, as Nivedita later affirmed. He had himself said this to an interviewer that aggression in the missionary sense was his objective. To elaborate it and in pursuance of his thoughts on the subject, it may be said that Swamiji had desired for a modicum of manhood in his followers and in the Hindu polity thereof so that they would rise up in defence of the Dharma against proselytising Abrahamic faiths and European colonisation. The latter is gone from our land in a sense, although its progeny in newer proliferation continues to pervert our minds and souls and eats into our vitals, but the former, those perverting, proselytising faiths are proliferating among our people and subverting our Sanatan civilisation.

Here lies the significance of Swamiji's exhortation of the manifestation of manhood of his people whose antithesis is such debilitating rendition of soft, sentimental music which Swamiji abhorred. Which is also why Swamiji never openly advocated on behalf of Rabindranath and warned Nivedita of the dangers of intimacy with the Tagore family, cautioning her thus that 'that family has poured a flood of erotic venom over Bengal', although in personal capacity he had sung Tagore's songs to both Thakur and elsewhere in the Brahmo Samaj prayer meetings or in private gatherings as at Nivedita's where he sang a couple of songs of Tagore before Jagadish Bose, Rabindranath himself and Nivedita.

But the sum and substance of Swamiji's message is in his own words: "My message may be summed up in one word---manhood."

THE CHRIST CONNECTION ... 1

THE CHRIST CONNECTION ... 1

They have made a mockery of Christ in forcibly converting the world. That gentleman had himself been a victim of force. And to force his message thus! What a reversal of first principle!

Ultimately, it is politics that takes over all movements that were spiritual to begin with. The way of the world prevails. The Spirit is sacrificed at the altar of convenience and the spirit of the movement perverted for good. What remains is a political party masquerading as a spiritual organsation despite its abundance of charity and social help.

Can charity be forced or must it? To develop complicated theology out of crucifixion, to breed mass superstition for millenia over the bodily resurrection of Christ which even the odd man of science (John Lennox) absurdly subscribes to, to hang on to the exclusiveness of Christianity as the only path to God and to effectively denounce all others as pathways to hellfire, if this is the doctrine billions are called upon to subscribe to despite pretentious claims to 'universal' love and charity, what hope is there for peace in the world?

Civilisation after civilisation has been wiped out in the name of Christ who would not strike back at his persecutors even, race after race obliterated as their lands have been occupied, property seized and populations converted or killed till the very relics of these remain in traces or are no more. And all this in the name of the Master's sublime doctrine 'Love thy neighbour as thyself'? It has been three hundred years of Christianity initially and seventeen hundred years of Churchianity thereafter. The world has been crucified to appease the proselytising appetite of the 'followers' of Christ. Jesus spoke one thing and the Church decreed another. Thus has it been.

And this we must resist, for the enemy is ceaselessly pursuing its proselytising programme here, perverting our people from their path by using our Sanatan symbols. Such is the mischief that is being caused. Such is the virus that unchecked is spreading in our polity. Hindus, wake up! You are being surrounded on all sides by adversaries from without and you are being consumed by culture warriors from within. It is an elaborately laid conversion network with fraud, force, trickery, money, academic benefit et al laid at your doorstep and within your chambers to pervert you from your ancestral faith, to obliterate your Sanatan civilisational identity. Beware! Arise now in defence of the Dharma.

BEATEN BY BARBARIANS, YET BATTING FOR THEM

BEATEN BY BARBARIANS, YET BATTING FOR THEM

Beaten black and blue by fanatical Muslims in East Pakistan and displaced as refugees here in West Bengal, these Hindus chose to find vocation in Hindu-baiting and overt and covert support of Islam nonetheless in pompous claims of secularism and in subversive moves towards revolution, the communist way.

Loyalty to the adversary has its limits, evidently the manifestation of the 'Stockholm Syndrome' in cases and plain wickedness elsewhere. But disloyalty to one's civilisational values seems limitless in many an educated highest caste (varna) Hindu, no less Bengalee, who delight in destroying the edifice of the Sanatan Samaj through political perversion and subversion of all sorts. These are the elements of erosion within our body politic, the poison infecting our system, our culture and the minds of our gullible youth. Beware of such perversion pompously called 'progressive thinking'! Vande Mataram!

IN RESPONSE TO DR. DAVID FRAWLEY'S POST WHOSE LINK IS PROVIDED BELOW

IN RESPONSE TO DR. DAVID FRAWLEY'S POST WHOSE LINK IS PROVIDED BELOW

The karmic web is more complex than such linearity apparently implies, the individual's karma overlapping and influencing that of neighbouring souls. In this complex existential scenario to isolate individual karma is seemingly impossible, although in the depths of purified reflection one may gradually enter into wider separation from others till beyond the critical gap freedom and independence is reached. The residual karma keeps holding till in good work done for the common weal it is exhausted and body drops for good to release the soul unto its perennial disembodied state. What I mean to state is this that the individual and the collective are inextricably linked in deeper bonds than are apparent and it is puerile to give a singularly linear description of individual karma. Where the individual personality has its boundaries is difficult to define, overlapping of shifting apparent selves being so unpredictable in this causal-probabilistic plane of karma, a contradiction in terms perhaps but not really so. Deeper reflection will reveal the predictability and unpredictability both of karmic consequences as Sri Ramakrishna so aptly summed up in his epic statement, "Mayar karje golmaal achhe." ("There are discrepancies in Maya, irregularities in its karma.") Hence, to simplify karma thus may suit the common currency but is not flaw-free in terms of both mathematical and philosophical rigour of thinking. As Adi Shankaracharya has said, "Indescribable is Maya," we may conclude that a workmanlike solution of karma may please the commoner but not the purist of profounder persuasion.

THE RETURN OF CHANDRA KUMAR BOSE

THE RETURN OF CHANDRA KUMAR BOSE

https://youtu.be/xzBZWqKLHXI?si=E6YE9hRT6v3aH2g3

An inspired oration by Chandra Kumar Bose literally in response to slanted questions put forth by the interviewer Kumkum Chaddha. Bose has regained his original fire that was so manifest in him prior to his joining the BJP, and this suppressed fire of his he has recovered post his quitting the said party. Evidently, he was ill at ease with the BJP's political ideology which is not as inclusive as what Bose advocates following the footsteps of his illustrious granduncle Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Now freed of all such compromise as party affiliation necessarily enjoins, Chandra Kumar Bose is on his renascent path hopefully of propagating the inspiring ideology of Netaji and Swamiji which he with his massive platform presence is eminently capable of. Here in this interview he stands tall, bound in truth and above petty political point-scoring, reverent to all including Kangana Ranaut who he has, by the way, not blasted at all as the video caption mischievously claims to secure attention, and emerges yet again an illustrious descendant of two illustrious forefathers whose heritage he must bear, though the task thereof be onerous. Bold, intrepid, articulate and impartial, inspired by Netaji visibly and unyielding in his allegiance to his enlightened nationalistic ideology, intensely human, yet intensely pragmatic, Chandra Bose shines luminous as yet a star in the murky political firmament. We all hope he remains in good health, happiness and ideological sanity so that he may serve our beloved motherland in the right righteous way which is the legacy he bears from his forefathers and which he must carry forth into the hearts and minds of our people, famished now of all sense of sublime patriotic ideal and hungering for some such soul as Chandra Kumar Bose to lead the charge and render them whole. Idealistic, utopian these ruminations may seem to most but to me it has seemed this day that there yet gleams the light that is Netaji in this grandnephew of his which if carried forward may light up the darkened alleyways of our present-day politics. After all Netaji must not live on as a dead ideal but as a living, transforming one, for, to quote his own words, "One individual may die for an idea, but that idea will, after his death, incarnate itself in a thousand lives." May it incarnate in Chandra Kumar Bose!

DEFENCE OF THE HINDUS ... 1

DEFENCE OF THE HINDUS ... 1

What if India eventually becomes an Islamic state as effectively Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, all parts of undivided India, have been? In this world of tribal religious culture where the minority by means of organised collective violence eliminate the more civilised and peaceful majority, it is best that the threatened majority should protect its civilisational interests and its own very existence by thorough study of the ideology and intent of the predatory minority. To provide special rights and protection to such a vicious minority then is to decree the destruction of the majority. Hindus are under threat in the Indian subcontinent from Islam and Christianity as also from Communism, although the latter does not qualify to be a religion as such in the God-sense of the term. It is a godless political ideology which has had its hands gory with the blood of tens of millions across the world over the past century or so. Christianity and Islam, on the other hand, have had their bloody evolution over the last two millenia. All three pose the severest existential threat to the Hindus.

'BHARATIYA'---AS THE WORD DOES THE ROUNDS TODAY

'BHARATIYA'---AS THE WORD DOES THE ROUNDS TODAY

You will never hear true 'Bharatiyas' ever criticise Islamic intolerance in clear-cut terms. How will they? To be 'Bharatiya' after all means only attacking Hindutva and they are too busy doing that unless, of course, personal considerations and conveniences impel them to temporarily align themselves with Hindutva parties when hostilities are held in abeyance for the while. After all self-interest overrides national interest and who knows it better than the true 'Bharatiyas'?

No chemist has been found till date who could, no such chemical method invented that could mix oil and water unto homogeneity. Sri Ramakrishna said famously that Hindus and Muslims have lived side by side for a thousand years and yet have not known each other at all, so watertight have been their respective religious modes as not to allow due diffusion of spirits. He further said that it would take as yet a very long time before they could harmoniously blend in a common national living. [Here I have paraphrased Sri Ramakrishna's words to the effect implicit in them.] Yes, indeed it will be achieved, as Swamiji vouched, in India forging a nation out of her diverse races with 'Vedanta brain and Islam body'. Very significant these words are. 'Vedanta brain' would imply the ideological death of communism in India and the antithetical aspects of theological Islam and Christianity. 'Islam body' would imply the development of a strong, sovereign, unified India free of privilege and inhuman inequality. 'Vedanta brain' further implies that the dominant religiophilosophical discourse in India will be that of the Vedanta or the quintessential Vedic Dharma or the Sanatan Dharma. Q.E.D.
