POESY: SAND DUNE
SAND DUNE
One sets the tune.
One dances to the tune.
And yet the sand shifts.
Yet drifts the dune.
The bright stellar beams,
They wax and wane the moon.
Dawn drifts to morn
And morn moves to noon.
To live but a fleeting moment,
To die and mourn too soon.
Eve sets in with nightly shade,
The beams have bent their boon.
All things are born and die thus,
Now high afloat, now maroon.
