PHILOSOPHISE LATER---FEEL NOW AND ACT---ILL DOTH IT BEFIT THEE TO BE MUTE WITNESSES TO HINDU HORROR ACROSS THE BORDER AND TO IT WITHIN !
When there is so much self-projection among most with their ephemeral selves being held up before the public for appreciation of their feeble talents in song and dance, where is there time for them to lodge strongly worded protests against the horror of Hindu persecution in Bangladesh? With desires unfulfilled and dreams of personal achievement dragging their selves down, how can these self-centred ones raise the defenceless Hindus in self-protection? Alas, these mute witnesses to Hindu torture being regularly and systematically perpetrated in Bangladesh, and their cowardly philosophising on it while maintaining a studied silence otherwise in terms of lodging protest, no doubt out of pursuit of self-interest of a sensate kind, leaves a distasteful idea about the degenerate state of West Bengali Hindus of flaunted intellectuality and cowardly capitulation. There are a few, very few, though, who are otherwise oriented and who are human enough to lodge their protest, patriotic enough to do their activism free of pecuniary or party interest, and it is these that are the remnants of erstwhile revolutionary Bengal. The rest are morally dead and are blissfully awaiting our cultural-civilisational annihilation while posing for selfies, posting videos of musical performance, dancing in monastic glee in the heart of spiritual Bengal, writing inconsequential poetry and remaining otherwise apathetic in their day-to-day pursuit of profit and pleasure to the tears being shed in the other Bengal. Meanwhile, the government watches in anxious expectation of electoral advantage that may be squeezed out of their tacit support to the oppressors and their deft maneuvering of moves that constitute the gamut of political activity these days.
