9. Both Christians and Muslims proselytise in India to the detriment of the Hindus. Christian evangelism in the Norh-east has deculturalised the tribals. Conversion to Abrahamic faiths must be stopped and mass reconversion programmes to the Sanatan Dharma initiated.

26. আজকাল চারিদিকে গজিয়ে ওঠা দেশপ্রেমিকদের ভাবটা কির'ম জানেন ? "এবার ভাবছি জগতটাকে উদ্ধার করে ফেলব |"

27. আজকাল দেখি কথায় কথায় সব খুব 'civilisation', 'civilisation' করে | এঁরা কিন্তু সভ্যতা, সংস্কৃতির 'স'ও স্পর্শ করে নি এ যাবৎ | হঠাৎ সমস্বরে চিৎকার করতে শুরু করেছে | বোধ হয় এ যুগে দেশের মূল সংস্কৃতিই হবে অহঙ্কার, অবিদ্যা, অজ্ঞানতা | তাই সভ্য হওয়ার এই শোরগোল |

41. Truth coming through the nervous system is reduced to its distorted derivative. Go beyond the body to apprehend Truth.

42. If Abrahamic faiths limit God to their finite folds, they must be reinstructed in Vedic wisdom, in the highest spirituality.

43. If Christianity says Christ alone is the Way, it must be told it is not so. Infinite are the radial lines to God.

50. Hypnotism holds the masses as the senses play havoc with the system. Mass ignorance is so hard to remove as Maya baffles man, his deluded mind devises a myriad means to hold him in captivity. Revolt against Nature. Break free of its fetters.

51. Civilisation is a nice thing to inherit, nicer to preserve and nicest to enhance. While chance bestows on us the first, our labour of love achieves the latter two.

Subject your beliefs to empirical and experiential validation instead of forming them on the basis of blind acceptance of authority, human and divine. This is the way to progress. This is the way to spirituality. This is the way to truth in its intermediate relative approximation and immediate absolute perception. 🕉

বড় হালকা মানুষ আজ, লঘুচিত্ততায় পরিপূর্ণ | এত লিখি কিন্তু কোনো গভীর প্রতিক্রিয়া পাই না | নিজের স্বীকৃতির ইচ্ছা পরিপূর্ণ হল না, এমন ভাব থেকে মোটেই এ কথা বলছি না | এই লঘু মানসিকতা দেশের ভবিষ্যতের প্রতি কতটা ক্ষতিকর, তা উপলব্ধি করি বলেই এ কথার উত্থাপন | সাধু সন্তরাও আজ কি পরিমাণ লঘুচিত্ত, তা দেখে আশ্চর্য হই | তাঁরাও যদি অবিদ্যা মায়ায় অল্প হলেও বদ্ধ হন এহেন, তো দুশ্চিন্তার কারণ ঘটে বইকি | হাজার বছরের দাসত্বেও যে জাতি জাগে না, তার গতি কি?

61. We are not only at war with terrorism of all kinds and from diverse sources but we are at war with global warming and the prospect of a nuclear holocaust. The demon lies within us and we must begin our combat there. It is urgent, now or never, for unless we can harness these forces of human annihilation, we may not have a morrow to brood on. I reiterate, it is now or never. Let fools stop holding centrestage and let wise men conduct human affairs. Else, it is Armageddon round the corner.

62. The West has lost character and is decaying. Its ill-begotten wealth, affluence through depredation of weaker nations, centuries of colonialism and now neocolonialism have reduced it to a pleasure-seeking, individualistic, selfish mass of people who have lost their spiritual moorings. The West is declining, will decline further even as lesser nations will come up to replace its dominance over world affairs. Whoever imitates the West will go down the same slope and it is best that nations remain true to their selves.

National concentration has to be built up, intellectual focus, timely diplomatic responses to false narratives floated by the enemy in the international arena, less of bureaucratic hyper-guarded language that dares not speak the truth about the enemy's actions and perceived intent, less of media hype and jingoism as if television anchors are going to settle international scores on night-time shows, less of commerce made out of human catastrophe and wartime emergency, and, above all, less of political point-scoring over each other using exploits of the Indian Armed Forces. Most importantly, though, is national unity at a time when our soldiers are at 'war', solidarity of the nation through the thick and thin of operations so that the morale of the forces is held high with our unconditional civilian support. After all, they fight that we may flourish, they die that we may live. We must live, therefore, in a manner that they, too, may live out their soldiers' pledges to the letter and to the spirit. Jai Hind!

68. Such a valorous woman of such superlative qualities, Nivedita's untimely death weakened our national movement for freedom and our general progress as a nation as well along the lines laid down by Swamiji.

69. Please read that phase of Nivedita's life where she parted ways with the Ramakrishna Mission for her political activities while remaining connected spiritually to the Mission founded by her Master. 

Nivedita's is a complex life, difficult to decipher. Her life was comprehensive, too, perhaps too much for the palate of relatively more passive people around her. Her Irish revolutionary blood with freedom running in her veins like wild fire made her impatient with the moderate means of the early Congress and induced her to pitch in with the more extreme revolutionaries under Aurobindo Ghosh's care. But fate decreed otherwise as the rigours of living in the harsh environment of the then India wore her down in health and in 1911 at the young age of 44 Nivedita breathed her last, her message unto humanity delivered but the execution of her work left incomplete. 

70. Read Rash Behari Bose's life. Such a great patriot must not be left alone. He nust throb in our nation's lifeblood.

71. Meanwhile the globe warms up. What about this environmental escalation ladder that we are blissfully climbing? Are we are a suicidal species?

72. Vedanta has had a bad defeat in every age. And yet it is Vedanta that is at the root of everything that wins. Inscrutable are the ways of the Lord, obscure the ways of evolution as clarity proceeds slowly through the mist of the Many to the unified end that has transcended even the One.

73. God is not the end. He is the penultimate step to the Unified Being that has transcended all enumeration, all ends and means.

74. Even if the world fails him, Ramakrishna will win. The world will be welded in love into one unified being, wedded will be the contradisposed forces in a harmonised whole. It may take time, and sure it will, but the outcome is inevitable, for the will of the Lord is omnipotent.

75. She is the last resort of all, the good and the holy, the wicked and the depraved. She refuses none, embraces all Her children irrespective of attributes in Her loving arms. Mother, I bow down to Thee!

77. The youth must be flooded with Vivekananda literature. That is the one way of building the character of the nation. And this programme must extended worldwide, for humanity today is facing the spectre of extinction. Nuclear holocaust and environmental eclipse are looming large. It is a change in attitude that can avert this human catastrophe. Here Vivekananda comes in as the prophet of the times, as the leading light that can guide humanity across the abyss of annihilation to security and safety.

86. Shashi Tharoor is creating waves across the world with his post-Sindoor representative oratory as leading spokesperson for the Government of India, much to the dislike of his political party. His articulate defence of India's case before several of the northern nations of the world has brought him into direct conflict with the unduly critical line adopted hy his party. While Tharoor is duly discharging his duty to the nation rising above party line, and he is doing quite the right thing, for national interest must always be held above party interest, the Congress seems to be unable to digest his performance and prominence thus, especially as it had not enlisted Tharoor's name in its choice of representatives for the said diplomatic mission. What transpires hereafter remains to be seen as it will determine Tharoor's future as politician and the profile of the Congress which has already sunk a lot in the public eye post its insensitive remarks regarding Operation Sindoor. 

87. If Vivekananda literature is made available to the youth en masse, it is bound to make its mark on national character in the foreseeable future. This is the sine qua non of the day.

88. A massive university ought to be built by the Government of India for research on Netaji. It will change India's fortunes.

89. Netaji researchers ought to resolve their differences of opinions on his disappearance by thrashing them out in open conference.

90. Netaji needs to be made far more prominent in national life for the instilling of unselfish love for the nation in the hearts and minds of the citizens.

91. Hindus must deepen themselves. Too much of levity has come to characterise them. This sort of frothy living is most un-Sanātani.

92. Levity has its limits and it is time to take a downward dive unto gravity. This crass commercial culture is eating into our vitals. Not good at all. High time to rectify stance and modify national living along lines of heritage.

93. Military might must duly back up deft diplomacy in order to strengthen our international relations.

94. Instead of 'Good morning', Ramakrishna devotees, say, 'Jai Ramakrisha!' That will be an exercise in holiness for both addresser and addressee.

@Sarbari Sen : জয় রামকৃষ্ণ ! মহানন্দ হোক বারংবার এই মধুর নামোচ্চারণে ! অমৃতক্ষরণ হোক ! জয় রামকৃষ্ণ ! ভগবানের নাম বীজমন্ত্রসম, উচ্চারণে শুদ্ধিকরণ, তমোনাশ, মুক্তি | মায়া কাটে এই নামে, ভবব্যাধি দূর হয় | কি হবে ওই সব পাশ্চাত্যের কুশলসূচক সীমিত সম্ভাষণে ? তার চেয়ে ঢের ভাল আমাদের সনাতন সংস্কৃতি, ঈশ্বরের শুভনাম স্বতঃই স্মরণ, মনন, সম্বোধনের সূচনায়, পরিশেষে উচ্চারণ | হৃদয় পূর্ণ হবে, মন শান্তসমাহিত হবে, চিত্ত শুদ্ধ হবে, অহং বিলুপ্ত হবে, ইষ্টলাভের পথ প্রশস্ত হবে | ঠাকুরের করুণার ধারা স্বতঃপ্রবহমান, তাঁর কৃপাবাতাস বহমান নিত্য তাঁর নামে | সেই নামসিন্ধুতে, সেই ভাবগঙ্গায়, আসুন, অবগাহন করি | জয় রামকৃষ্ণ ! 🕉

95. If the capital city of a country ranks among the most polluted in the world, it does not but give a fair indication as to the general level of pollution across the land. Successive governments come and go but the capital suffers. Asthma is on the rise. Children's health being hazarded like hell and yet no sign of 'Project Afforestation'. To force Delhi to dive to its doom is dastardly enough, not to mention the mean machinations to politicise the disaster for electoral gains while doing nothing about resolving the crisis. Meanwhile, Delhi breathes but only in spasms!

96. সংবাদপত্র খুলেই শীর্ষক দেখে লিখতে বাধ্য হলাম : 'ভাগ্যিস্ দেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী ! নইলে কি যে হত কে জানে ? ভারতমাতা আজও জাগ্রতা ! বাকিরা যা, বিশেষতঃ দেশবৈরী যারা, তারা হলে তো সর্বনাশ হত | ঠাকুর এদের কুচক্র হতে দেশকে রক্ষা কোরো |

সিঁদুরের সম্মান রক্ষা করেছেন মোদীজী, সিঁদুর বেচেন নি, বেচতে আসেনও নি | রাজনৈতিক জয়লাভের জন্য যারা দেশকে, জাতিকে, ধর্মকে, সভ্যতা ও সংস্কৃতিকে বেচে থাকে, তাদের মুখেই এ সব কথা শোভা পায় | ভাবতে কষ্ট হয় যে এদের হাতে জনগণের ভাগ্য নির্ধারিত হবে বলেই কি ক্ষুদিরাম, প্রফুল্ল চাকি, কানাইলাল, সত্যেন, বাঘা যতীন, গোপীনাথ, মাস্টারদা, বিনয়, বাদল, দীনেশ, আরও কত অজস্র বাংলার শ্রেষ্ঠ তনয় বীরগতি প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল ?'

97. যে ভক্তিতে শৌর্যবীর্যের সম্যক প্রকাশ পায় না, তা ভক্তি নয়, ভান | ছোট ছোট শিখ শিশুদের কাছে ভক্তি শেখা শ্রেয় |

98. সবাই স্বামীজী পড়ছে ! সবাই যদি স্বামীজীই পড়ত জন্মকাল হতে, তো দেশের চিত্র পালটে যেত | কিন্তু তা হল কই, হচ্ছে কই ?

99. Continuous continence for 12 years in thought, word, speech and action opens up the Medhā nāri (the nerve of creative intelligence) that makes perception of the Absolute possible. Duality ceases and the Non-dual Being in its self-existence becomes apparent. Such a state is called Brahmajnān and the perceiver on return to relativity dubbed Brahmajnāni.
