THE TOXIC BLOCK THERAPY OF FB

FB unnecessarily blocks people who voice legitimate concerns over contentious social issues such as the dangers of growing Islamisation of non-Islamic societies with their concomitant loss of freedom under the prospective Sharia. Such a policy of Muslim-appeasement is ruinous. 

Technology used stupidly to block people making innocuous posts is another concern. It fails to interpret the import of posts correctly and penalises unduly. Freedom of expression is being curtailed to facilitate so-called communal harmony when that very harmony is under threat. 

If people aren't allowed to voice their concerns over prospective societal dangers--the Partition of India having been its historic illustration--just to facilitate commerce, then it invalidates the very purpose of setting up a social media platform. The protest being lodged here is not regarding vicious and vitriolic attacks against particular communities but regarding posts written in civilised language warning sane societies about the dangers of insane sections working to undermine social cohesion and imposing medieval monstrosity on free societies. That FB does not possess due discretion as to what is good or bad for society is regrettable and requires urgent introspection on its behalf regarding its policy on censorship of free speech. If such censorship is so badly done, where will freedom of speech remain? 

X fortunately allows freedom of speech in its true essence and we are grateful for that. People's concerns about their safety and security are not trampled upon here by checks and blocks of an undiscerning character and that allows free venting of public anguish over wrongs being done to them.
