Communication is the essence of social living, of civilisation, its failure the reverse state of selfish individualism, isolation, forlornness, frustration and eventual oblivion. Modern technology has facilitated communication but failed to make people more sensitive to others' wishes beyond their own selfish domain. It is blessedness to be sought, accursedness to be unwanted. Therefore, value those who value you, else, stay devalued and eventually unvalued in your own isolated cell.

Sugata Bose @Akbar Hussain : But what the Maulana has said is in accordance with the Islamic scriptures. So, why not address the real doctrinal issue apparently revealed by the Divine? The problem lies with theology, not merely indoctrinated and indoctrinating individuals subject to it and giving expression to it as it duly is. The core issue of scripture is being carefully sidelined and the peripheral one, no doubt serious and worthy of absolute attention, is being as usual highlighted. If the root is taken care of, the shoot will be alright. Isn't it so? So, instead of wasting expletives on those serving vested interests of the Deen and of individual gain, it is high time to bring scriptural texts under critical scrutiny and doing the needful in regard to it. Nonetheless, thanks for standing on the side of what is right but my thankfulness will be in infinitely greater measure once the real reasons for such intolerant and totalitarian behaviour are addressed right at the very root of revealed scripture. 🕉
