IS SRI RAMAKRISHNA ALSO THEN TO BE DEEMED A WEED OF SORTS?

IS SRI RAMAKRISHNA ALSO THEN TO BE DEEMED A WEED OF SORTS?

If private tutors are rendered redundant with improvement in the national education system post the implementation of the National Education Policy, as Swami Atmapriyananda states and calls them weeds that have grown in the deficient academic system till date, would he agree to label the Avatar Sri Ramakrishna also as one such massive weed instead of being the panacea for social evils of all kinds? The comparison may seem far-fetched but in essence has to be understood when its validity will be clearly perceived. After all the Avatar also privately rectifies human discourse and is not an integral part of the formatted system of human evolution. His is a hacking into formal space and helping failing evolution on. As such he deserves the gratitude of humanity. So let private tutors who have rendered seminal services to the academic system be held in veneration that is due to teachers and not discarded thus as so much appendage grown in an unseemly manner in an unwary hour of systemic failure.

Private tutors may be considered weeds only where they exploit the education system for commercial gains but where they contribute significantly to the learning process and are integral to the functioning of the system as it exists, they ought to be recognised gratefully for the seminal services they have rendered and not derided as being weeds. After all there have been countless instances of private tutors transforming the lives of students far better than formal schooling has succeeded in doing it en masse. Hence, it is expected that better balance in statements be there, especially in those who vouch being protagonists of the new education policy that is on the horizon. It is a gross insult to private tutors to be awarded by Swami Atmapriyananda the epithet 'weed' when they have largely held the failing school structure of insufficient instruction by complementing it with a fertile filling in of the glaring gaps in such education. Swami Atmapriyananda has shamed the private tutors by his thoughtless verbal ejaculation. It is expected of him to be more circumspect in his articulations henceforth for him to be deemed an academic of any merit, especially that of a deemed university.
