What the nation needs today is the activation en masse of the dual principle of renunciation and service. Only through selflessness in practice and not merely in words may the country get past its present maladies and recover to self-consciousness. We need thousands of lion-hearts, imbued with the spirit of Swamiji and Netaji, to rise in unison in the service of the motherland to buoy her above her present sunken state and, so, help millions of her hapless children rise above the turbulence of the times to mature citizenship where the national need outweighs their individual craving and they accede to it spontaneously and with a gleeful spirit. No amount of rationalisation on personal prerogatives above national necessities will hold ground now when the motherland is in need of a million martyrs for the cause of her redemption. Come, join me in offering yourselves as oblation to the sacrificial fire that has been lit by Ramakrishna-Vivekananda for the real liberation of our beloved motherland en route to emancipation of the whole of humanity.
