PHILOSOPHISE LATER---FEEL NOW AND ACT---ILL DOTH IT BEFIT THEE TO BE MUTE WITNESSES TO HINDU HORROR ACROSS THE BORDER AND TO IT WITHIN !

When there is so much self-projection among most with their ephemeral selves being held up before the public for appreciation of their feeble talents in song and dance, where is there time for them to lodge strongly worded protests against the horror of Hindu persecution in Bangladesh? With desires unfulfilled and dreams of personal achievement dragging their selves down, how can these self-centred ones raise the defenceless Hindus in self-protection? Alas, these mute witnesses to Hindu torture being regularly and systematically perpetrated in Bangladesh, and their cowardly philosophising on it while maintaining a studied silence otherwise in terms of lodging protest, no doubt out of pursuit of self-interest of a sensate kind, leaves a distasteful idea about the degenerate state of West Bengali Hindus of flaunted intellectuality and cowardly capitulation. There are a few, very few, though, who are otherwise oriented and who are human enough to lodge their protest, patriotic enough to do their activism free of pecuniary or party interest, and it is these that are the remnants of erstwhile revolutionary Bengal. The rest are morally dead and are blissfully awaiting our cultural-civilisational annihilation while posing for selfies, posting videos of musical performance, dancing in monastic glee in the heart of spiritual Bengal, writing inconsequential poetry and remaining otherwise apathetic in their day-to-day pursuit of profit and pleasure to the tears being shed in the other Bengal. Meanwhile, the government watches in anxious expectation of electoral advantage that may be squeezed out of their tacit support to the oppressors and their deft maneuvering of moves that constitute the gamut of political activity these days.

Sugata Bose @Paramhansa Shikshangan English Classes : Don't you instead feel inspired to fulfil Bhuteshanandaji's aspirations, his rightful expectations from conscientious devotees? How can and for how long must truth be watered down to suit the pampered mind's pleasure-seeking proclivities? "Truth does not pay homage to any society, ancient or modern. Society has to pay homage to Truth or die. Societies should be moulded upon truth, and truth has not to adjust itself to society." These were Swami Vivekananda's words pouring out like lava from the igneous Soul that he was, a Vesuvius among men.

Sugata Bose @Soumyadeep Dey : Really? RKM sadhus exhibiting anti-Muslim sentiment? Where have you seen it? Kindly disclose.

Sugata Bose @Ujjal Kumar Ghosh : Yes, from the causal perspective so but from the literary perspective the words have a certain bearing whose nuance must be apprehended.

Sugata Bose @Ashok Chakraborty : Is this what you read in the post? Is this how you read my labour of love for years? Or, have I read you wrong, misinterpreted your observation, that is?

Sugata Bose @Rajiv Banerjee : Do you not ever read my posts? Can you not stop all these silly responses once and for all? Can you not see what the post attempts to convey? Can't you write something worthwhile?

Sugata Bose @Ashok Chakraborty :

Sugata Bose @Ujjal Kumar Ghosh : Good one. Just the right tonic for the mind that has gone toxic with superficial or no knowledge of the relevant scriptures and scantier knowledge of history.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Swamiji's warning has not been heeded. His prophecy is fulfilling. This genetic pool will have marginalised existence in some other meandering current. It is a disastrous loss to the world. Care must be taken to reverse the mode. Awareness must be spread forthwith on a war footing.

Sugata Bose @Kapil Patil : I like your aggressive Maratha intensity, veritably the need of the hour.

Sugata Bose @Priyadarshi Gupta : Not that way. Caste/varna has its evolutionary significance in our society, the genetic flow of attributes. I am not advocating the perpetuation of caste but am merely highlighting the need to maintain the nobler attributes as yet flowing in the gentlemanly class which need preservation just like the lower caste people and the ourcastes or the Dalits need to be lifted up through temporary reservations whose period, to my mind, though, has gone long back. To prevent cultural decline the demographic balance needs to be maintained which does not mean that privilege must be maintained. The Constitution has already levelled those irregularities.

Sugata Bose @Priyadarshi Gupta : No, not just a Vedic concept but an evolutionary reality in India.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : But Ramakrishna and Vivekananda are Avatars, God incarnate. How can Ramakrishna Mission raise them? Ramakrishna and Vivekananda can raise Ramakrishna Missions instead. Isn't it so?

Sugata Bose @Debaprasad Bhattacharya : Your observations are so pertinent and potent. Thank you. Please continue to think aloud for us to benefit from.

Sugata Bose @Kapil Patil : Here you see, by not agreeing with me you are helping yourself, that is, you are rejecting my message and helping yourself by sticking to your own idea, your own conviction.  And this also is self-help, self-dependence.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Shree Ramachandra, Shree Krishna, Buddha, Sri Ramakrishna, Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda were all non-vegetarians.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Perhaps you have not read the Ramayana and the Mahabharata where clear mention is there about Ram and Krishna's meat-eating. Buddha was a meat-eater. In fact he died of diahrroea after consuming putrid meat of a low-caste man who had invited him to his cottage for dinner. All kshatriyas ate meat. This has been the Sanatan tradition for ages. In the Indian Armed Forces today all are non-vegetarians just like our ksharriyas down the ages have been.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Rambhadracharya? Not a credible source of information or inference despite his bombastic quotations and claims.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : There is no sense of guilt in meat-eating as much as there is no sense of guilt in eating vegetables or fruits. Both are necessary for a balanced diet.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : What a shame that you know so little about Swami Vivekananda to cast such aspersions on him!

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Who told you that Paramahamsas have dietary restrictions on them? They are free of all social and scriptural injunctions. They are free, freer than the air. They abide as Spirit, consuming whatever they need to keep their body alive, their higher conscience dictating their deeds. Paramahamsas are beyond all social and scriptural injunctions, let it be reiterated.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Swami Vivekananda used to sarcastically say, "Your religion is in the kitchen and your God is in the cooking pot."

Sugata Bose @Sanjeev Kumar : Pertinent points about your observation: 1) Are you overly sonosensitive that you find me 'yelling'? 2) Are you a psychiatrist and that too an impatient one? 3) Are you a good judge of others' knowledge? What I mean is, are you are adept in both medicine and law? 4) Are you dhārmic? 5) Are you an erudite in the Sanātan scriptures that you pass a pompous pronouncement that the Sanātan Dharma concerns itself only about sattva and leaves out rajas and tamas from its catholic consideration? 6) Are you an anarchist that you so easily identify your likeness like one finds oneself grimacing back at oneself in a plane mirror? I mean, are you seeing some sort of an anarchic likeness resonating in your being at my innocuous observation? 7) Are you the sole mouthpiece by self-appointment of the Sanātanis/Hindus? 8) Last but certainly not the least, are you yelling at me to silence me? Brother, it will not work. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Your earlier utterly puerile observation, almost judgemental, about Swami Vivekananda dying a sick man like an ordinary mortal because as a yogi, though he was mandated to be a vegetarian, he had violated it, has put your profile in the correct light and I cannot anymore be fooled into believing that you are well-read in Swamiji. Had you been so, you would not have borne such dietary absolutism that you do and would have borne far greater shraddhā for Swamiji and desisted from making such a mockery of a statement. I have formed a fairly accurate idea about the 'kitchen religion' that you consider the Sanātan Dharma to be with 'your religion is in the kitchen and your God is in the cooking pot' (quotation from Swamiji) to be the crux of its applied philosophy. Sorry, dear friend, my study of the Sanātan Dharma, scripturally and in austere application in real life, has taught me otherwise and it is in perfect conformity with the sayings and doings of the great sages (Hrishis), divine incarnations (Avatārs) and scholars/savants (pundits) running down the ages, barring, of course, those ones who under later Buddhist and all Jain influence have run counter to it by positing vegetarianism as mandatory, ostensibly for its sattvik benefits during the formative years of spiritual practice when the turbulent mind is more easily controlled by a milder diet. But by no means is such an injunction Vedic in origin and is, therefore, not binding on all Sanātanis. In the Sanātan Dharma there is a whole range of diversity to suit diverse temperaments. And casting it all as in a straitjacket hardly remains Sanātan but becomes more akin to the fixity seen in Abrahamic faiths. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Sanjeev Kumar : Even Netaji whose picture adorns your profile was a non-vegetarian for good measure.

Sugata Bose @Ujjal Kumar Ghosh : They do. India is the second largest water buffalo beef exporter, not cow beef, after Brazil.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Yes, you ought to salute someone who has been in this discourse your teacher. Disrespecting the teacher, though, is not Sanātan tradition. But flight is better where fight in defeat has proved for you futile.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Thanks for giving me the due respect of 'Dada' which I sincerely appreciate, although your opening remark about my 'extraordinary ignorance' is an even better appreciation of my bewilderment at Mahāmāyā's delusive drama thus enacted in countless universes from time immemorial, phenomenal worlds that float in the cosmic mind to which we are privy too, being part and parcel of it all. However, I truly feel bad for having drawn you into a futile debate by your own admission which has cost you so many precious moments which could have been better spent elsewhere with your follower folks who would have agreed to every tenet of yours bred fresh in the scripture of your mind. Namaskār! Pranām! 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @John Embrey : The problem among a huge class of Hindus is that they make vegetarianism their sole concern. Here the other passages from Swamiji's 'Complete Works' become pertinent where he denounces this exclusive emphasis on vegetarianism as being part of what he terms 'kitchen religion' to the exclusion of all else, ethical practice, philosophy et al. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Sutanu Chatterjee : I have merely presented the message left us by Swamiji in this regard and have made my point comprehensively clear regarding the comprehensive diet that is optimally suited to the human constitution for it to develop physical, moral and spiritual strength.

Sugata Bose @Sutanu Chatterjee : Guru Gobind Singhji forbade the consumption of halāl meat only as it entails a slow torture of the sacrificed animal en route to its death. He did not prescribe any wholesale ban on animal flesh consumption as such. We are talking here in this ongoing discussion spanning the past few posts about the Vivekananda view on the 'kitchen religion' that has come to plague a vast number of 'bok dhārmiks' (pseudoreligious ones) and its consequent debilitating effect on the overall health of the polity, health in its comprehensive sense. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Paramhansa Shikshangan English Classes : AI, nowadays the easy tutor in all its shallowness, will provide all surface knowledge about deep things. This is the age of self-proclamation, self-advertisement, pretence and shallowness, all masquerading as authenticity in its majestic mode. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Sutanu Chatterjee : Your observation bespeaks a rank aspersion cast on thinkers who use the keypad to voice their views based on a life of pertinent thought on the same, and throw your conception about them in bold relief. Alas, these are the times we live in when by the very stroke of the keypad one attempts to demolish the edifice of another's lifelong meditations and conceptions thereof of key issues that affect, even afflict the body and the soul! Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof! 🕉

Sugata Bose @Sanjeev Kumar : But you are a humorous person who is providing much delight on an otherwise dull day. And thank you for it.

By the way, are so you lazy as not to have read the Ramayana, the Mahabharata and the Upanishads along with the Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda and the life of the Buddha to be so innocent of their non-vegetarian diet? Come on, buck up, get going and off onto your study of the aforesaid literature before you utter your gibberish. It is for you to study and find out the said facts, the very obvious kshatriya dietary habit down the ages, and not for me to indulge you further in your indolence. 🕉 Hindu!

P.S. A gentleman ought to communicate in a more civilised diction than you have unfortunately chosen to do or by habit been forced unto such an action.

Sugata Bose @Ramakant Tiwari : Your flight from verbal duel suggests your cowardice and your verbal diatribe of a detestable kind indicates your vegetarian violence that you direct at me which is a strange aberration, you must admit. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Sanjeev Kumar : Krishna, Ram and Buddha were all meat-eaters as were all kshatriyas of the age. Any student of history knows it. If you do not, go back to your text books. Be not so lazy as to expect others to do your job.

Sugata Bose @Ujjal Kumar Ghosh : You are one of my few readers and a perceptive one at that who embellishes the posts with pertinent creative interpretation and input.

Sugata Bose @Biswadeep Sinha : They these days generally wait till the legend is no more. Then they try to perpetuate his memory by crowning him India's jewel posthumous. A noble endeavour no doubt in an age of cerebral death. [Reference is to the delayed, more often than not posthumous awarding of the Bharat Ratna.]

Sugata Bose @Sanjeev Kumar : True. And the essence of character and culture is knowledge, knowledge temporal and knowledge transcendental. In spiritual ignorance character is lost and in material ignorance culture and temporal civilisation becomes unsustainable, the territorial integrity of the country becomes threatened and political independence is lost. Hence, character, culture and knowledge are a triune, an integrated lot each of which element is intrinsic to its sustenance. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Partha Pratim Das : Read the Ramayana and the Mahabharata and a bit of ancient Hindu history, and you will get proof enough. Exert yourself.

Sugata Bose @Satwik Satapathy : Don't breathe in that case. You are killing microorganisms. Don't eat vegetables. You are killing life. Don't walk, don't move, don't even live because with every such motion you are destroying life. Don't take medicines to recover from illness as you will be killing microorganisms. Simply become the unmanifest Brahman and disappear to avoid killing life. But even in that act of disappearance you will be killing your final share of life.

Non-violence is an attitude that has dietary implications during the formative years of sādhanā (spiritual practice) but does not entail such restrictions forever, prior or post realisation. The masses must eat non-vegetarian diet to supplement their meals with the right kind of nutrients till, as Swamiji says, science is able to develop them artificially. The violence that people commit in economic exploitation, in day-to-day behaviour, in cheating, in fighting it out in this mass race for one's very survival, economic and otherwise, is to be considered as well. The vices of corruption by such a vast number of vegetarians as well is to be duly reckoned. The licentious living, the lust for power, all these as well instead of sole emphasis on dietary habits by way of practising non-violence are to be accorded the necessary attention.

The Hrishis, the Avatārs such as Rām, Krishna, Buddha, Rāmakrishna and Vivekānanda were all non-vegetarians. Were they not Sanātanis? The Sanātan Dharma does not prescribe vegetarianism as essential iniversal condition for subscription. It merely emphasises sectionally its importance during the early period of ascetic activity when a milder diet helps in the control of the otherwise wild mind.

Sugata Bose @Partha Pratim Das : Read 'The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda' thoroughly just like that and you will get to the bottom of it all.

Sugata Bose @Satwik Satapathy : Even in pressing the keypad to counter me, you are killing invisible microorganisms by the pressure. So, must you do it or desist and think? But in thinking you'll be making internal body motions which will necessarily kill life within. Must you think then? To live itself is to wittingly or unwittingly kill. There is no escape. What morality, ethics and their crest jewel spirituality teache us is to abstain from undue violence, not sustenance which must entail some natural violence. The mind must be purified of hatred, not merely the diet be emphasised on to a fault.

Sugata Bose @Satwik Satapathy : The way of violent vegetarianism which entails offering sugar granules to ants while exploiting the masses with ill-begotten wealth?

SONG COMPOSED BY GURU NĀNAK DEVJI ON BEHOLDING THE HORRORS OF BĀBUR'S INVASION OF HINDUSTĀN

SONG COMPOSED BY GURU NĀNAK DEVJI ON BEHOLDING THE HORRORS OF BĀBUR'S INVASION OF HINDUSTĀN

[FROM THE FILM 'NĀNAK SHĀH FAKIR]

https://youtu.be/OETtNQ7-who?si=ltPCoMoAjhr1xmao

As the word of the forgiving Lord comes to me,

So do I express it, O Lālo.

Bringing the marriage party of sin,

Bābur has invaded from Kābul,

Demanding our land as wedding gift, O Lālo.

Modesty and righteousness have both vanished

And falsehood struts around like a leader, O Lālo.

The Qāzis and Brāhmans have lost their roles

And Satan now conducts the marriage rites, O Lālo.

The Muslim women read their Kitāb

And in their misery they call upon the Lord, O Lālo.

The Hindu women of high social status

And others of lowly status as well

Are put into the same category, O Lālo.

The wedding songs of the murder are sung, says Nānak,

And blood is sprinkled instead of saffron, O Lālo.

Nānak sings the glorious praises of the Lord in the city of corpses

And voices this account.

The one who created and attached the mortals to pleasures,

Sits alone and watches this.

The Lord is true, and true is His justice,

His issue, His command, according to His judgement.

The body-fabric will be torn apart into shreds

And then Hindustān will ever remember.

Coming in seventy-eight (1521 A.D.),

They will depart in ninety-seven (1540 A.D.).

And again another of his disciples will rise.

Nānak speaks the word of truth.

He proclaims the truth at this, the right time.

As the word of the forgiving Lord comes to me,

So do I express it, O Lālo.

Having attacked Khorāsān,

Babur terrified India.

The Creator Himself does not take the blame

But has sent the Mughal as the messenger of death.

There was so much slaughter that the people screamed.

Didn't You feel the pain, O Lord?

O Creator Lord, You are the Master of all.

If some powerful man strikes out against another powerful man,

Then no one feels any grief.

If a powerful tiger attacks a flock of sheep and kills them,

Then its master must answer for it.

This priceless country has been laid waste and defiled by dogs

And no one attends to the dead.

You Yourself unite and You Yourself separate,

I gaze upon Your glorious greatness.

One may give oneself a great name and revel in the pleasures of the mind.

But in the eyes of the Lord and Master

He is just a worm for all the corn that he eats.

Only one who dies to his ego while yet alive,

Obtains the blessings, O Nānak, by chanting the Lord's Name.

Didn't You feel the pain,O Lord?

Didn't You feel the pain, O Lord?

Didn't You feel the pain, O Lord?

Song composed by Guru Nānak Devji

MESSAGES GALORE ... 107

MESSAGES GALORE ... 107

1. We need to educate our people in science. That will be the first step to spirituality. Reason well defined, realisation will follow. Else, crude errors will creep in, corrupting course. Reason is the guardian of the mind.

2. Love is the great festival that is going on in the world. Demons spoil it by spreading hate.

3. Islam is not the 'Religion of Peace'. Neither is Christianity. Both convert. And conversion is war.

4. Conversion is war. Any faith that converts, in effect facilitates social division, obliterates culture, annihilates civilisation, creates war. Unless a faith has universal sympathies, it is bound to divide human society and create conditions that are not conducive to peace. Theologically Islam and Christianity are narrowly sectarian and divide the world into two antithetical sections. Islam divides the world into momin and kafir, and Christianity divides it into the Christian and the heathen. Islam dooms the kafir to hell and Christianity dooms the heathen to hell. Yet, for all the 'love' shown to the vast majority of non-believers, we are expected to accept that Islam is the 'Religion of Peace' and Christianity the faith that preaches the gospel of the 'Prince of Peace'.

6.

Small boys play war games,

Big boys desist.

Small boys play the aggressor,

Big boys resist.

7. Tall names and taller claims maketh not a nation. Build the nation silently without self-glorification or with an eye to gaining electoral advantage. The nation will stand with you only when you place it above your person or party, and the nation will sure stand by you when it is on secure foundation standing. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose gets spontaneous adoration and support. Why do you need to manipulate it?

Reduce economic disparity. Control population. Generate employment. Replace dishing out doles with providing jobs. Build your own character and be an example before your sycophantic followers and the fooled multitude. Leave behind a legacy that would do justice to the martyrs to the motherland.

Build up the universities and clear out politics from their precincts. Develop science and technology instead of archaic pseudo-sciences.

Establish science universities in the names of Meghnad Saha, Satyendranath Bose, Jagadish Chandra Bose, Chandrasekhar Venkataraman and Srinivasa Ramanujan to begin with and keep politics out of them by way of law.

This is a scientific age and nations need science for combating both the forces of Nature and enemy nations. The masses need rationalisation, not induction of age-old superstition in the form of useless rituals, astrology and the like. Feed them reason and liberal philosophy as enshrined in the Vedanta expounded by Vivekananda, and see what a lightning change comes into the polity.

Children are the future of the country. Why does the government of the day not provide a nationalistic, yet true, version of Indian history? That is to say, why must our children be fed so much of world history and Marxist interpretation of history while being kept in the dark about the glorious phases and chapters of Indian history? Mere talk of nationalism will not do. It will only increase jingoism in the name of patriotism. What is needed is awareness about our civilisation in truest terms, neither coloured by political Hinduism nor discoloured by Marxist misrepresentation.

Swami Vivekananda's works must be popularised in the country. Popularised, that is, the people must be made aware of his works and his literature must be taught in institutions in a relevant manner so that the character of the citizenry is duly built.

People are suffering from shallowness. Levity fills the artificial atmosphere that is consumer culture of the day. The film industries of the land with all their frothy stuff, fantasy world et al, are careering culture precipitously down. The shepherd has turned toxic and the flock follow him to their doom.

11. There is an infinitude outside and there is an infinitude inside. In between I remain the interface, a layer of conscious perception.

12. One man's holiness starts a religion. Others follow and a tradition sets up. Thus the faith flourishes, so long as it does not kill to do so. Self-defence is one and killing to propagate another. Purity and service sustains the religion. Faith in the founder is its bedrock but he must be followed in truth and not in words alone. His principles must be practised in full and not tailored to convenience.

13. Sikhs are Hindus.

14. If he (Swamiji) cannot awaken India, none can.

19. Rest in the Lord and do thy duty.

21. What we need is practical Vedanta, not theoretical Vedanta of no common consequence.

22. The problem with the Hindus is that they speak a lot and do very little to back up the words they utter.

23. The worst sufferer in this age other than the persecuted and the poor is the Lord Himself. Thakur has been forgotten. His words are openly floated. 'Taka maati, maati taka' has today been casually cast away as an impractical, archaic concept having no relevance in the current commercial world we live in. This is not just regrettable, as euphemism would have it for us, but downright despicable, as it truly is. Return to roots! Return to Ramakrishna!

25. সনানুভূতি is sympathy, not empathy.

26. Talk nice things, give financial support, wean away the susceptible from their ancestral religion and convert them. Good game plan.

28. Love is worship when it extends to all.

34.

Slaves to circumstance,

They know not even how to love.

O bondmen of the world,

Of what avail is life

If love be throttled thus?

37. Peace of mind comes from absence of animosity towards any.

38. Left movement will grow so long as exploitation by capital continues. Repression cannot root out revolutionary response.

39. The terrestrial drama is being enacted as on a silver screen. It is merely a mental projection, surface deep, insubstantial and hollow. Beneath is the substance, the consciousness-stuff, the reality of undying existence.

40. Where there is overmuch of material work, there can be no love.

41. Work but do not bend under its load. That is bondage, slave-like. Work happily, a free man.

45. Without absolute continence meditation is impossible. Brahmacharya is the precondition to concentration of the mind.

46. End your passages with a full-stop. Do not be so slipshod in your approach to online writing. Inaccuracy by persistent action becomes habit which then grips the soul in the reverse mode of imperfection.

51. A spiritual person ought to be humble. But those that are labelled spiritual are seldom so.

63. If life be of two days, let us live to love and not waste a moment in futile hate.

64. Politicians are Rhinodas and Rhinodis.

'Rhinoda' means elder brother with rhino hide and 'Rhinodi' means elder sister with rhino hide. They have such rhino hide that they shamelessly do what they do in public and do not need a dark cave to hide their darker deeds.

65. If Swamiji is preached in an effeminate manner, his person is being injured indirectly, his principles violated directly.

66. The very effeminacy which Swamiji wanted to root out from this nation, especially Bengal and Madras, has come to maturity now at its fullest. Vivekananda is being persecuted day in and day out by effeminate followers from commoner to top leader in the name of devotion to the mighty one. Culture has reached its corroded nadir. Hope there will be an upswing now. But who knows?

67. It seems it is a crime to be a Hindu in Bangladesh where Hindu women are regularly ..... Will the GOI not protest against this?

69. When there is so much persecution of Hindus going on in Bangladesh, why don't you all daily lodge a Facebook protest against it?

71. Calm the world, stop wars, plant trees. Else, victor and vanquished will both perish at the hands of Nature.

72.

80. Swamiji was the confluence of the diverse currents of human thought, of human civilisation spanning ages, crossing continents. He was the harmony of them all.

81. When great souls come, they flood the world with love. Myself am a small soul but can add my tiny bit to the world's pool of love.

82. It is the idea that becomes the nucleus for revolution. Theory precedes action. Philosophy grips the mind. Then revolution breaks out.

83. Upper caste Hindus ought to have more children, at least three, to prevent the demographic downslide and the consequent cultural decline. Right now the birthrate per upper caste couple is between 1.2 and 1.4 which is way below the replacement rate of 2.17. This means that the upper castes with all their attributes of culture and quality will eventually disappear which in turn would be disastrous for the country. This trend must be reversed forthwith on a war footing. The simple solution is to spread awareness about this alarming trend, to facilitate earlier marriage among the gentlemanly class and to encourage the birth of at least three children per couple. For this financial help must be provided for the maintenance of the middle class.

84. Ustad Zakir Hussain should have been awarded the Bharat Ratna long back. And it is high time to award it to Vishwanathan Anand.

85. জপই job, jobই জপ |

86. Potential energy to kinetic and kinetic energy to potential. That is all there is to life universal, the fluctuating fortunes of time, undulating in endless cycles of manifestation and recession.

88. We have to be civilised in our public demeanour before we can claim ourselves to be Vishvaguru. Tall claims require taller deeds.

95. There is nothing called Indian Islam. It is just Islam and its foundational doctrine is everywhere the same, grounded in the Qur'an.

99. The way Ram and Krishna have been accepted, absorbed and assimilated as God by the Hindus across the length and breadth of India, Ramakrishna and Vivekananda have not yet been. The fault lies in us that we have not been able to carry forth their life and message as yet to the teeming millions. This has been a great fault of ours which we must atone for by now spreading the tidings in real earnest throughout India. This is the one great hope I entertain as being the means of rejuvenating the motherland and maintaining her unity and integrity which is being threatened by diabolical anti-India forces from without and within India.

THE REGENERATION OF THE HINDUS ... 1

THE REGENERATION OF THE HINDUS ... 1

We, Hindus, need to cultivate a greater martial bent of mind. Spiritual aggression is a dire necessity to overcome our civilisational odds. The Abrahamic faiths continuously convert us through persuasion, fraud, force and inducement. We must resist these. We must clean up our house first, place dharma above ill-begotten artha and strengthen our following. Vaishyavritti (commercial attitude) is ruining our religious discourse. We must clear such commercial corruption from our spiritual orders and from society in general. Then alone the kshatriya spirit will be quickened. Robust religiosity must replace passive piety. Manhood must supplant effeminacy of bearing. Self-dignity must define individuality and not slavish prostration at the feet of men donning the ochre or wielding the staff of wealth and political power.

THE CURSE AND ITS ENDURING CONSEQUENCE

THE CURSE AND ITS ENDURING CONSEQUENCE

Jihad inflicted upon us for near 1400 years has cost us the loss of approximately 80 million Hindu lives. The worst Islamic atrocity it seems was reserved for the kafir-mushrik Hindu. What did the world gain out of it? Cipher. Death and destruction carried on for so many centuries only destroyed the best of civilisations the world has ever seen.

We must defend our Sanātan civilisation by becoming politically united as a warrior community much like the Sikh Khālsā founded by Guru Gobind Singhji. Swamiji in vain tried to infuse the martial spirit into us. All that we learnt was the exact opposite of what he so emphatically taught. Hence, Hindus continue to suffer from Islamic oppression wherever they are in minority in Islamic countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, and in provincial pockets within India. We are still singing and dancing and catering to every sense pleasure as if the time to defend ourselves has not yet come. This is gross effeminacy engendered especially in an emasculate atmosphere fraught with the ignorance of our horrific historical past. Perhaps knowledge of history will quicken us to the defence of our race. To this end Swami Vivekananda gave his life's energy. But he failed to awaken our dormant spirit of resistive action, so deeply immersed we have been in passivity for centuries. Where the Punjabi Hindus responded actively to their Guru's clarion call and even today lay their lives down to do their Khālsā Panth's duty, the Bengali Hindus, after their roaring response to Swamiji's call in raising revolutionary resistance to British imperialism, have fizzled out in enthusiasm and have resorted to a life of puerile pleasures and pastimes, and perfidious politics of alien atheistic origin and impulse. Thus, tragically enough, Swamiji's disciples at generations' distance have failed him completely whereas Guru Gobind Singhji's followers to this day carry out his commandments to the letter, aberrations notwithstanding.

Meanwhile, jihad sharpens its sword of destruction to fulfil scriptural injunction and prophecy. If we sleep, we will die in dream. If we wake up and choose not to act, preferring to pin our faith in fanciful interpretations of Islam, we will not survive the day, for the demographic transition has set in so as to alter the composition of our ancient culture here in partitioned Bharatvarsha as well, just as it has done so in the mutilated parts of the motherland which are all effectively Dar-ul-lslam. It is now or never. Decide.

THE SECOND LINE OF DEFENCE THAT SWAMIJI COULD NEVER RAISE AFTER GURU GOBIND SINGHJI'S FIRST KHĀLSĀ

THE SECOND LINE OF DEFENCE THAT SWAMIJI COULD NEVER RAISE AFTER GURU GOBIND SINGHJI'S FIRST KHĀLSĀ

Swamiji had wanted in some sense to develop a khālsā-like spititual-warrior class of followers but sadly could not succeed as his followers failed in due course to manifest that spititual manhood that makes defence of the Dharma ethically mandatory even at the cost of one's life. Swamiji admired the great Guru Gobind Singhji and held him up as the exemplar of spititual manhood amidst a vast mass of men who have ever since become increasingly effeminate. This was the Swami's professed greatest misfortune that beyond the Bengal revolutionaries he could not gather a band of warrior spirits who would give manly representation to his ideas and wage a relentless war against the inequities that beset the world. His exhortations are there in his 'Lectures from Colombo to Almora' and it is for us to stop our demonstration of titular passive piety and start a valorous defence of the Dharma as he had desired.

POESY: SAND DUNE

SAND DUNE

One sets the tune.

One dances to the tune.

And yet the sand shifts.

Yet drifts the dune.

The bright stellar beams,

They wax and wane the moon.

Dawn drifts to morn

And morn moves to noon.

To live but a fleeting moment,

To die and mourn too soon.

Eve sets in with nightly shade,

The beams have bent their boon.

All things are born and die thus,

Now high afloat, now maroon.

ARJAN DEVJI, TEGH BAHADURJI, GOBIND SINGHJI---THE BLOOD OF THE THREE GURUS WHICH REVIVIFIED BHARATVARSHA

ARJAN DEVJI, TEGH BAHADURJI, GOBIND SINGHJI---THE BLOOD OF THE THREE GURUS WHICH REVIVIFIED BHARATVARSHA

Sikh sacrifice. The fifth Sikh Guru Arjan Devji being burnt alive by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir by way of retribution for having given refuge to the Emperor's fleeing rebellious son Khusrau. Thus began the gory saga of martyrdom of the Sikh Gurus.

The execution by burning, though, is contested by counter-claims of execution by other means following the Guru's refusal to convert to Islam. However, it is universally agreed upon that he was tortured to death or executed otherwise, exactly how, as has been stated, is unclear. Guru Arjan Devji's supreme sacrifice in defence of the Dharma was a civilisational inflexion point as it proved to be the mainspring of inspiration for future Gurus to defend the Dharma militarily as against mere spreading the Shabad (Word of God). Thus began the grand fightback of the Hindus spearheaded by the Marathas and the Sikhs that eventually succeeded in overthrowing the Mughals and reducing Muslim political hegemony to near cipher.

Guru Tegh Bahadurji, the ninth Guru of the Sikhs, was likewise tortured and beheaded by Aurangzeb after he refused to convert to Islam. In a valorous response to such Islamic intent at annihilation of the Hindus, the martyred Guru's nine year old son Gobind Das was anointed as the tenth Guru of the Sikhs. In 1699 Gobind Das founded the Khalsa and became Guru Gobind Singh. This martial order of Sikhs waged war continuously against the tyrannical Mughals which laid the foundation of the future Sikh empire that reached its peak under Maharaja Ranjit Singh and effectively uprooted Mughal dominance over northern India. In this political transformation of India the Sikhs found a parallel contemporary power in the Marathas who in a like manner, inspired by their founder Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, brought about the doom of the Mughal empire.

Aurangzeb's forces got all four sons of Guru Gobind Singhji killed, his mother and wife killed as well before an assasin mortally wounded the mighty Sikh lion as well and ended the mortal line of the Gurus, to be replaced by the Eternal Shabad enshrined in the Granth Sahib which was thereon to be the eleventh and the everlasting Guru. The martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singhji's entire family, father, mother, wife, sons and the Guru himself remains in the annals of world history as an inspirational instance of sublime sacrificial suffering of a single family that inspired an entire community to martial living, service and sacrifice of unparalleled extent and altitude. Guru Gobind Singhji reorganised the Sikhs into a spititual-warrior class who would defend the dharma and civilisation of Bharatvarsha and her territorial integrity and political sovereignty post-Independence, a tradition that continues to this day. And it all began with the martyrdom of the fifth Guru Arjan Devji.

POESY: THE WAVE AS IT SINKS

THE WAVE AS IT SINKS

I want to be forgotten

Like my forefathers have been,

Buried in the womb of oblivion.

I came from nothingness,

Unto nothingness shall sink

Where aught is nought

And nought is aught

And none exists

Save the One that is.

SONG OF THE SOLDIER

SONG OF THE SOLDIER

Boomerang, boom boom boom!

Save your soul or go to doom.

Boomerang, boom boom boom!

With every breath

I wait for my death

From womb to tomb.

Boom boom boom!

Boomerang, boom boom boom!

Boom boom boom!

Boom boom boom!

Composed by Sugata Bose

P.S. I have set the song to tune but due to lack of Facebook facility I cannot play it here. I have recorded it elsewhere as is my usual practice.
