THE DEATH OF WEST BENGAL ... 1

West Bengal was created in 1947 by the extreme exertions of Dr. Syamaprasad Mookerjee to safeguard Hindu interests when Islamic jihadists were murdering Hindus with impunity to secure Pakistan. But Bengali Hindu apathy thereafter to their own welfare, despicable cowardice and lack of awareness about Islamic civilisational intentions have put paid to such hopes. West Bengal is getting rapidly Islamised with open appeasement of Muslims by the ruling dispensation---of which the latest observations of prominent provincial politicians is proof enough---and by rapid demographic change which in the course of the next few decades will render her into a Muslim-majority state, prompting fissiparous forces to demand cessation from the Union of India, creating another Kashmir. How long will Bengali Hindus sleep to this Islamic danger, now knocking on the doors of our Sanatan civilisation here yet again? 

Michael Madhusudan Dutt had in his poem 'King Porus---a Legend of Old' penned the following lines regarding the Greek invasion of India under Alexander:

['Came as the tiger, noiseless slow

Like fiery passion's headlong flow.']

How aptly he had described the general civilisation danger from invasion, here in a specific instance! 

One such instance is upon us yet again. From within the polity, the polity is being subverted in quite the manner British historian Will Durrant had forewarned in his magnum opus, 'The Story of Civilisation'. The quotation runs thus:

[WILL DURANT ON INDIA 

In his 'The Story of Civilisation' Will Durant wrote, 'The Mohammedan conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precarious thing whose delicate complex of order and liberty, culture and peace may at any time be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within.'

More than twenty years after his death a quote from Will Durant read, 'A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within.']

How Hindus will respond to the challenge will determine their destiny. As of now, the rest of the world, especially Europe, is facing a like challenge and is responding, each in its characteristic manner---somewhere with suicidal political correctness, elsewhere with aggressive push-back. How the meek, the cowardly, the capitulating Bengali Hindu with his pious pretensions and pompous political posturing full of hollow sloganeering that lacks in daring and initiative, will respond, remains to be seen. As of now it is a dismal scene of sense-gratification, self-serving and servitude that is visible. Hope there are subterranean currents of resistance building up that will ward off this looming threat. One can only hope, no more, in this regard and individually inspire others to collectively take up cudgels for the cause. 

'Vande Mataram!'---so long as the chant is allowed, for at no distant date this adoration of the motherland will have been banned and replaced by the loud reverberation of 'The One God, the Great'. 

West Bengal is dying at demonic hands.
