REWRITE THE TRUE HISTORY OF THE FREEDOM STRUGGLE, SAYS CHANDRA KUMAR BOSE

Chandra Kumar Bose is a lion of a man. The way he speaks is so different from the hesitant political talk given by some others who claim to be the custodians of our beloved leader who led us to freedom. Chandra Kumar Bose's entire attitude seems so selfless, simple and straightforward without the usual guile that has come to characterise our wily politicians of perfidious intent. His words carry weight for they spring from the sincerity of his heart and, emotionally excited though he tends to get in a verbal exchange with dubious adversaries, be they hired historians having the specific purpose of suppressing the true history of the Indian freedom struggle so as to sideline Netaji and his climactic contribution to the cause of freedom, or be they political opponents lacking in fundamental character or integrity which becomes manifest in debate over the contentious issues concerning the disappearance of Netaji, yet, his arguments are well-founded in fact and corroborated by illustrious instances and analyses, never arbitrary but deriving their authority from authentic historical sources of standing international repute.

Chandra Kumar Bose is leading the crusade for the rectification of the narrative of the freedom struggle of India but the attempt will fail if not carried out in a systematic and scientific manner with clarity of conception and efficiency in execution being uppermost. Mere exclamations without follow-up work on the same will prove to be an exercise in futility for the proposition will fall through without fruition. It is, therefore, meet that Chandra Kumar Bose himself takes the lead in organising a band of devoted historians, as opposed to the hired perpetrators of falsity, who will dedicate themselves towards this great task of rewriting the true history of India's freedom struggle.

Calm and collected work must begin on an organised basis for which an organisation must be built up first whose work will be to promote the task at hand, and a publisher with a nationalistic fidelity, a la Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, must be approached to publish the works of this organisation. Initially, booklets and small biographical studies of the heroes of the freedom struggle must be written, published and promoted among school children, college goers and university scholars. The springboard made ready, the rest of this epic endeavour will follow suit. Any help from this author's side will always be forthcoming. Hoping for the best in line with Netaji's eternal optimism, I look forward to the first publication from out of the womb of futurity that will initiate the process of resetting the narrative of India's freedom struggle right. Jai Hind!
