India, Robert Spencer said, was the one hope in tackling this toxin, but continues to see Muslim population spiralling and Hindus dwindling in numbers. Mosques, madrassas and maulvis are multiplying here and providing ideological training ground for much of the world's terror. Dar-ul-Uloom Deoband is the ideological hub of Islam where many a mischievous one from Pakistan has received initial indoctrination and thereon proceeded with perfidy elsewhere in the West. You have rejected the word Islamic 'ideology' and I see your point, for Islam hardly has any ideology. No philosophy, no spirituality, nothing. In 'Sholay' fun has been made of Hindu idolatry but Islam has been painted pure in the light of the Imam Sāhāb's perfect demeanour in the teeth of great personal loss, that of progeny. The deft message subtly delivered about the sanctity and solemnity of masjid and namāz as opposed to the jest implicit in Basanti getting deluded by Veeru proxying for Bhagavān Shiva from behind his idol does send some subtle signals. To the suspecting mind it seems, perhaps duly, perhaps unduly, that there has been a hidden agenda in Mumbai film-making in so far as furthering Islamic interests and undermining Hindu interests is concerned. But is that so? Every other script writer takes the occasional liberty with Hindu Gods and Goddesses but none dares to do so with Islamic practices and beliefs. Is it not so? While I am for literary license and artistic freedom, I see that it is a one-way traffic in India with Hinduism the 'target' or the focal point of fun while Islam stands as if sacrosanct as the great faith free from such dared profanity.

61. One must study Islamic doctrine as recorded in the Qur'an to be able to understand what jihad really is. So, 'Iqra' (read)!

Dear Holy Father,

      Brainwashing children from birth is not the right prescription for the progress of humanity even in the spiritual line. Indoctrination from infancy retards the capacity for rational thinking and fills the mind with vague superstitions that for ages have masqueraded as spiritual learning. The mind loaded with such archaic conceptions about the world and life, about truth and reality, can scarce advance effectively to the discovery of truth in real. Children must be allowed to grow free of these traditional trappings of thought and given room for free thinking whereby they will be instruments fit enough for self-discovery or the discovery of the Self which in essence they are. Religious indoctrination has had its day. Now let its skeletons not be exhumed to the continued detriment of human society which should now be permitted to see truth as it is by the light undispersed by the prism of puerile and often perverse piety. 🕉

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel died in 1950, leaving India fumbling at the hands of an ever-erring Prime Minister. The very same year Narendra Modi was born, just months before the Sardar's demise. The rest is history. Worthy successors do come but, alas, at too long an interval in India which somehow fails to produce a string of such leaders in quick succession! 

Chanakya saved ancient Bhāratvarsha from the Greeks. The Chanakya of our times was Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He integrated India and saved her from balkanised extinction. Now his successor at long last, Shree Narendra Modi, is saving India and rebuilding her with his iron will, considerable craft in realpolitic and unbounded patriotism steeped in this nation's true Sanātan heritage. He is the follower of Swami Vivekananda in totality and not in segmented effeminate understanding and application. May Modiji live long to guide India but may he groom worthy, even worthier successors to him so that the safety and security of India be beyond future violation in this world of dreadful uncertainty!
