FRIEND 7 ... PRITHWIRAJ SARKAR

Dear friend, you have a rare command of the English language and are putting it to the grand cause of serving the great ones which is the noblest way in which you may use your considerable literary gifts. Sri Aurobindo seems to have permeated your nerves which is why you have such an overwhelming influence of his style of writing in yours. You have a rich oriental style of writing, ornamental and full of literary effusions so very characteristic of the Asiatic school. You are precocious and so hold the promise of an a'fer fruition which I thrill to behold in my mind's eye. Schooled as you are in the great sage's integral philosophy, your thoughts are profound too. But what is original about you despite stylistic influences of Sri Aurobindo in your writings is the softness of your literary approach which can only be ascribed to your own individual personality trait percolating through your prose as the poetry of your soul lending a singular beauty and authenticity to your compositions.

And herein they pass the test of time,
Waltz through the portals of life sublime
Till words do melt in mood divine
And the empty chalice overfills with wine.
To such a dawn my friend,
I send these lines tonight,
They'll waft through the starry skies
To welcome you with the light.
