What is in name and fame? They are great impediments to the uncovering of the soul, the discovery of the Self. Better far to strive to excel.

We must take care of our tribal sisters and brothers. Unto them belong the origins of world culture. Help them come up in life and prosper.

Do not despair friend,however down you may be.Within you is infinite power.Just unleash it and see how your fate changes in a flash. Have faith.

Educate, educate the masses. This was the clarion call of Vivekananda. Help the Ramakrishna Mission build educational institutions.

When death is certain then why not live for the glorious purpose of nation-building, for the amelioration of the misery of the masses ? Love.

44 lakh rupees or 4.4 million rupees or INR 44,00,000 are immediately needed to purchase a MOBILE MEDICAL VAN which will cater to the eye and dental treatment of the poorest of the poor of North Bihar. The aim is blindness eradication from North Bihar. The Eye Hospital, Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Muzaffarpur is in acute shortage of funds and we thus exhort the generous public to liberally contribute to this noble cause. The Mobile Medical Van is a vital link between the Eye Hospital at Muzaffarpur and the poor people lying up-country in North Bihar. They have neither sufficient health awareness nor access to the necessary means for treatment. Consequently, the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Muzaffarpur has taken the initiative to make available the basic health facilities to them by means of this proposed roving medical van. We urge all kind-hearted souls, devotees and friends to help us in this noble cause. Corporate houses are being urged to come forward and take up this hospital project as their project under the CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. THE KISS OF KRISHNA ... IN RESPONSE TO A QUOTATION FROM CHRISTOPHER MARLOWE, 'MAKE ME IMMORTAL WITH A KISS'.

But this, my friend, has to be the ethereal kiss, totally devoid of aught of Earth, pure and free of material contact, utterly, sublimely, transcendentally spiritual, the baremost touch of Spirit on Spirit that awakens in a trice the coiled-up power (kulakundalini shakti) and sends lovers careering into transcendent bliss, consciousness, immortality. Few in history have had this touch power and fewer still been the recipients of this heavenly kiss. The Gopis of Vrindavan were enmaddened by this ecstatic kiss of Krishna and craved for evermore, the touch of the Divine transporting them to supernal heights of consciousness where space and time melt into an infinite whole, spherical without bounds, and the Self broods on the Self before rebounding into the dizzy heights of love sublime, life eternal locked in lips divine. And just the other day, on the banks of the Ganga, the sage of Dakshineshwar transformed his leonine protege with this touch divine, the Kiss of Krishna. Who will follow the notes of the Flautist Free? Who will step in to the rhythms of the Dance Divine? If you will friend, then unto you belongs freedom unbound, the light of love and the bliss beyond. Set sail my friend, unfurl your sails and cross ashore to the bank beyond where all is love and all is life and all is the Lord beyond all strife. Unto such a dawn my friend, I send these lines tonight. They'll waft through the starry skies to welcome you with the light.
