Sugata Bose @Saswati Bhattacharya : We are also suffering because of own negligence in studying him (Netaji) and his spiritual preceptor at a distance, Swami Vivekananda. Were we sincere, we would have activated the Swami's principles with complete concentration in our lives to transform ourselves and in cumulative consequence our nation. Alas, we neglect them and carry on with our lamentations to little effect! We must overcome our inertia thus and forthwith set ourselves to altering the current status of our country in all its prevailing negative aspects. This has been enjoined upon us as our dharma and this we must execute rightfully. And, imperishable souls that we are, divine in essence and potent beyond measure, we can. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Satyaki Das : National holidays are inconsequential. What is needed is activation of the grand principles of Swamiji which had inspired Subhas Chandra Bose to metamorphose into Netaji. And this can and must be done by ardent admirers and devotees of the duo for self-transformation and national reconstruction. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Parnika Bubna : Premānandji is not a realised soul. I have arrived at this definite conclusion after sufficient investigation of his videos. He has the grace of Mother but is in clear pretence, unclear to most but easily understood by the discriminate. Egotistical reaction in argument, overmuch of humility before some monks and priests, bad concentration when listening to Vedic shlokas (periodic opening of eyes), undue talk of own kidney problem, uproarious laughter that breaks the inner rhythm, disturbing walk through the city at night that creates problems for residents, unnecessary repeated talks on adolescent self-abuse etc. Mainly, over-awareness of the outside environment and the lack of indrawnness. Spiritual dramatis personae all. As you say in colloquial Hindi, 'drāmābāz'. Moreover, शरीरलक्षनम | From physical characteristics which are evident, the discriminate eye can make out. Besides, realised souls do not advertise themselves online all the time.

Sugata Bose @Sumit Mukerji : But Bradman averaged 89 against England overall and 56 in the Bodyline Series. Important to note in the context of the post.

Sugata Bose @Deepak Kandpal : I know. I did not mean here historical greats like Swami Vivekananda but have drawn attention to the plethora of fake Gurus making money by fooling the gullible masses, especially with their popularity being propped up by political parties to sway the electorate to their fold. Besides, there are crony capitalists who are in collusion with this racket that goes in the name of spirituality but which is essentially commerce of a corrupt kind.

Sugata Bose @YouTube [TV9 Bharatvarsh] : Chanakya through Chandragupta Maurya had got Dhanananda punished, not Mahāpadmananda as Rāmbhadrāchāryaji has averred.

Sugata Bose @Vikram Rana : No, not this sadhu. Sri Ramakrishna's Vedanta Guru was another Totapuri whose photograph has not been possible to trace as yet, if any existed or exists, that is.

Sugata Bose @Stephen Murphy : Body-bound people measure men by the body. We Indians are spiritual and do not castigate people thus.

Sugata Bose @YouTube [ABP News @Swami Avimukteshwaranandaji] : The interviewer is deliberately trying to trap a Shankaracharya into making some inadvertent comment which will be useful for the channel's commercial purpose. This is Avidyā Māyā of the worst kind. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Nirmal Kumar Dey : ये बहुत दुखभरि परिस्थिति | संशोघन करना चाहिये | रोघ करने लिये कुछ तो किजिये |

Sugata Bose @Sangeeta Ghosh : Let us join hands in defence of the Dharma. Our conjoined effort will inspire others to join in. In the Sangha is Shakti. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Shivananda Aum : The fate of Hindus over 1300 years in India at the hands of Islam and their fate in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh even today as also in different provincial pockets of India will illumine you in this regard. Christianity has hit the Hindus hard as well in this regard during colonial occupation with its associated proselytism and the proselytism going on ever since Independence, courtesy the policy of  ultraliberalism in this regard of the Nehru government, a tradition which carries on. Vivekananda's works are pertinent in this regard. My struggle in my own small way is to save the Sanātanis and the Sanātan Dharm in India, to prevent its Islamisation and Christianisation. Bhāratvarsh must remain Hindu which progressive demographic change is threatening in parts and overtime over the whole of India. We have suffered enough for 1300+ years. Now no more. This is the motivation, the inspiration, the dharm which impels me on. As regards Satya Dharm that to be established in the wide world, it will take a very long time as yet as the races of the world, varied and variegated, and at different levels of spiritual evolution, need that time to experience the hollowness of the phenomenal world and gradually come to the Vedic understanding how to make it meaningful and spiritual in the truest sense of the term, overcoming the superstitions that creedal codes impose on the submitting fearful mind. 🕉

THE VEDANTA

(Delivered by Swami Vivekananda at Lahore on 12th November, 1897)

... 'When the Mohammedans first came into India, what a great number of Hindus were here; but mark, how today they have dwindled down! Every day they will become less and less till they wholly disappear. Let them disappear, but with them will disappear the marvellous ideas, of which, with all their defects and all their misrepresentations, they still stand as representatives. And with them will disappear this marvellous Advaita, the crest-jewel of all spiritual thought. Therefore, arise, awake, with your hands stretched out to protect the spirituality of the world. And first of all, work it out for your own country.' ...

Sugata Bose @Shivananda Aum : It is not so. I do have a universal perspective as well but that is another part of my programme, the missionary part. I thought you were asking me your question in the context of my Facebook posts in defence of Hinduism. So, I gave my answer relevant to that. As a devotee of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda and an ardent Sanātani, what you have mentioned is certainly part of my greater objective but my outreach as of now in this regard is minimal. However, that does not make me indifferent to its importance whether I am able to pull it off now or not. Many of my posts, especially the earlier ones of earlier years when I was somewhat oblivious of the political consequences of Abrahamic proselytism in India in the light of Thakur having accepted both the faiths, Islam and Christianity, as true, were pronouncedly philosophical and addressed the whole of humanity as such, eventhough even then I was unintroduced to the wider world of humanity as such. But your mention of it has made me once more remember Swamiji's dictum unto us, that of carrying forth the message of the Vedanta to distant lands with verve and vigour, an aggressive missionary zeal, for it would conduce to the well-being of the world. Thank you, dear friend from Russia, for reminding me of my wider responsibility towards the world which in effect will, as Swamiji believed, also strengthen the position of the Hindus in the Indian subcontinent as well. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Jisnu Bhattacharya : But leftism that way is a more recent phenomenon. Abrahamic proselytism and cultural conquest have been going on for nearly two millennia.

Sugata Bose @Arunangshu Mandal : That is why the Sanātan conception of Mahāmāyā is that of the gender female, Māyā being tortuous and twisted, entwining by attraction and releasing temporarily by repulsion before repeating process ad infinitum. The Guru (the spiritual preceptor) has been conceived of as the Purush who in His saguna aspect (aspect with attributes) appears before the shishya/shishyā (the spiritual aspirant) to initiate him/her in the science of sublimation of the self unto merger in the Self (Ātmajnān). Shakti in the feminine form binds and Shiva in the masculine form frees. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Dhyan Maneesha : Ādi Shankarāchārya resurrected the Sanātan Dharm to save Bhāratvarsha from the decadence of latter-day Buddhism, Buddhism in its third phase of left-handed worship (Vāmāchār), which was ruining the character of the nation.

Sugata Bose @Dhyan Maneesha : Buddhist tāntric Vāmāchār of a horrendous sensual kind incorporating every form of carnal practice that bound the monk more to flesh than the spirit and by mass influence was destroying the character of the nation.

Sugata Bose @Paramhansa Shikshangan English Classes : But RKM is too passive in their preaching work as opposed to what Swamiji had wanted. The self must be rooted out to serve people but operational scaling must also be done to arrive at a critical mass of influence that will alter the current declining societal status in this regard.

P.S. The commercial instinct seems to be rampant in society today with altered circumstance and declining morality facilitating the dominance of the copper coin on the corroded mind that can stoop to any level to sell self-respect in exchange for a handful of silver bars as Judas had in Biblical narrative engaged in. Here, of course, the Christ betrayed is one's own conscience whose beats are taking a heavy beating these days to the individual's and the aggregate's perceived precipitous fall. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Debaprasad Bhattacharya : Terrible touch-up on the photograph. Has made a monkey out of Shiva, to quote Swamiji in the Ramakrishna context when the premier disciple was exhorted to write the biography of his peerless preceptor. In a like manner has been this brutal brushwork that has rendered a god into a demon, to put it in hopefully forgivable hyperbolic terms. Swamiji's message, though, is as usual matchless eventhough delivered extemporaneous.

Sugata Bose @Ujjal Kumar Ghosh : Irrespective of whether you touch a raw nerve or two of deliberate supporters of proselytising faiths antithetical to Sanātan sentiments, you must carry on unapologetically speaking the truth. Your apology will embolden apologists for Abrahamic worship by Hindu institutions like RKM to criticise you as intolerant Hindutva fanatic which they unapologetically will do without turning a hair. So, why bother about hoping not to displease such crypto-Abrahamists within the Hindu fold? Be bold and speak the truth and nothing but the truth, so grace you God (Sanātan Īshvar). 🕉

Sugata Bose @Choudhury Sujata : 'When ignorance is destroyed', this 'we' consciousness is also destroyed. 'We' are no more there, neither 'nature' but it is 'The One' and 'The Being' that in 'knowledge' abides. No more 'we', no more 'nature'. 'Infinite nature' is a contradiction in terms, what in common parlance today is dubbed an 'oxymoron'.
