We are working our way to our death : now let us work our way to our liberation. Death stalks this earth everywhere ; everywhere is its domain. It spares nor prince nor pauper. Emperors die and empires die, worms die and the cosmos dies. There is no permanence in life save the ever-recurring cycle of impermanence. But there is a way out of this vicious cycle. We may work our way to the centre of this terrible wheel of causality for the centre moves not nor the axis of rotation. But every step is fraught with Maya --- deception, delusion, death. Each moment dies so that the next be born. Out of the womb of Maya is born phenomena and into the womb dissolves the same. Magic, mystery, myth!
